Everything. As an additional point. If you have solid ground up the Bomber will set your Fire Eaters on fire without doing blast damage. They will still take direct damage however, so be mindful of that A pow16 against an arm13 model will obliterate it.

Hm...curious to see what the changes to the Battle Wagon are. I think our wagon has been pretty lackluster/situational since MK2, and I don't really see it becoming a "support piece" like that hinted version of the Cryx BE or the Death Knell are.
I'm a little bummed that Trolls aren't next on the list of CID changes since they were so heavily alluding to the fact that we were next, but IIRC they DID say that we'd have our chance "soon", so hopefully in the CID after the SR2017 batch.

... how have people been finding them so far? 9 points seems like a lot of points for such a squishy unit, but they've got some utility overlap in my mercs.

Also loving the fact that a lot of the more active voices have made the migration as well. Is there any thought so far of migrating the site to a standalone domain (outside of the freeforums.net domain)? I remember reading somewhere that the "Lormahordes" domain was incorrectly spelled, and it might be easier to spread the word about the forum w/ an easier to remember domain name like loremahordes.com, or something. Just making a suggestion, since the community's still fairly small and it'd be easier for people to change their bookmarks sooner rather than later Thanks again for starting up/maintaining the forum!

You know, thinking over what problems I do have with the Croe's and drudges doing meaningful damage to heavies (outside of adrenaline rushed drudges on the charge), Aiyana and Holt seem to be able to fill that hole pretty well. +2 Damage on backstab shots means that Croe's can now do meaningful damage to Arm 20 jacks (average of 3ish per shot). Rat 8 handcannons are always welcome from Holt as well.
Adding them into my list would mean dropping the croe's to min and losing an agitator, but that just makes the croe's more of a backline harassment piece waiting for an assassination or heavy damage on a jack/beast.

I'd also say anything that can put out a lot of rough terrain/forest and has decent shooting. I've had some trouble slogging waves of drudges through rough terrain, and it's just no fun.
As forgemaster has said above, I've played that CoC matchup with Iron Mother, 2 assimilators, and a prime axiom, and it was rough. Ground Pounder's incredibly strong, and there's no real way to hide your cephalyx leaders.

I ended up playing in a local steamroller yesterday that had specialists, so I ended up taking my croe's there anyway.
Really glad I did, because I ended up getting a top of 2 assassination on pLylyth camping 2 with 7-8 croe's shots.
So they've certainly got their uses, they're fantastic when they work, but I'm not entirely sure they're good enough in the warmachine matchups. That being said, I did play against hordes all three of my rounds, and the croe's would have had great impact against in each of those games (I dropped Bart into both of the circle matchups I had, and he really struggled with hitting def 14 prowl/stealthed heavies).
Time to get in more reps, I suppose!

Talk to the store and see what they say. There's an excellent chance one of these boxes won't stay on the shelf for long if you cancel (especially with Cygnar being so popular), and missing out is a very real possibility. I'm sure they'll understand, and you can get the box before the online stores run out (which happens really quickly). I'm sure someone here would like to know about an available box in a month or two as well, so you can point them to your store and feel better You make a good point, I really don't want to miss out on the box, and this'll move quickly if I end up having to buy the one from the store anyway. Should be an easy flip (at cost of course, I'm not one to scalp). Ironically, it looks like DGI has just run out of boxes to sell....just checked out for one on the PP store. Thanks for the input guys.

Hopefully I don't miss out on it... would hate to see it go out of stock before getting my hands on one. That sounds like code for "We're never actually getting one in this store". Do you live outside the USA? I had that problem with the Mk2 boxes. They were happy to take my order, tell me it was on the way when there was no chance of it ever arriving, and I nearly missed out entirely because of it. Nope, I'm in the USA. Yeah...I've got a feeling this is the case as well, especially since they've been having some trouble getting stock in on time for the past few months... I'm tempted to just pick one up online, but I don't want to leave the store with an extra copy on hand either. Hate these kinds of situations. I'd hate to be a dick and order one out of self interest, but missing out seems like a crap option as well.

So I gave my Thexus list w/ Croe's Cutthroats another play last night, and though I'm enjoying the flanking/synergy w/ TK, I don't think it's coming up often enough for me to warrant their inclusion. Backstab is great, but my meta tends to be a little heavier on armor (like most metas these days, I believe). Pow 10's, even with the additional die on backstab attacks, doesn't seem to crack armor well enough on its own. I can see adding Aiyana and Holt making them great, but that would mean sacrificing yet another heavy.
I think I'll be modifying my list to take out the croe's and an agitator, and putting in another full unit of benders and a warden.

So it might be a little far from where you're at, but The Realm Games and Comics in Brea, CA has a fairly large group of people playing every Thursdays, with Steamrollers on Saturday. I believe there are a few events being held at Next Gen as well. GE Pasadena might not be holding Steamroller tournaments anymore, so you might want to check in on that.

Curious, what are the TGM doing for the Thexus list that aren't covered by something else? Why take TGM over Croe's? I guess the utility of the TGM shots are great, but 10 points for a 3 man unit just seems ridiculously expensive.
Have you run into any major problems with the two wrecker battlegroup?

As much as I feel like Broadside in general is an enormous trap, I can't see Bart without Galleon having much game. The perk of a lot of ARM skew lists is that you have so much to chew through, that you can trade punches all day and come out on top. With Bart and even a bunch of Nomads, I feel like you are just going to end up losing on scenario because you don't hit hard enough or cover enough space. Galleon fixes both problems. I'll agree here as well. The galleon really is the lynchpin of the army. the ARM skew is great, but without the galleon shooting off models each turn, regular jackspam just doesn't sound all that appealing. Hot Shot Galleon is just too damn good to pass up.

Actually, yeah, I did a conversion to add some sluggers to my army for the same reason. I absolutely hate the scale of the "old" Trollblood models. Here's how mine turned out: So, as you can probably tell, I used the plastic box of Scattergunners, removed half of the barrels, and attached some bitz that I had lying around from Warhammer40k Orks. I'm really happy with how they turned out.
