Can someone explain the grenadiers? Not really seeing their purpose, as there's already a lot of anti-infantry shooting in the list. Why not take jacks that can crack armor?

The kicker here is that new players, who are the target audience, are pushed to combine this with the battle box. That means if they pick up these two boxes, they'll already have 2 units of stones, which is something no player will ever need. The Battle Box doesn't come with the krielstone. Are you talking about the all in one box with Gunnbjorn? Ah, indeed I did. And I guess the description does say "battle-box" instead of all-in-one...but still kind of a bummer of a box.

Both this and the cygnar box contents have been a joke. The cygnar box doubled up on Trenchers, which is something we'll almost never see.
PP has really dropping the ball recently.

If I'm being honest here, you really shouldn't start with 2 maulers. Go for list variety, and make that mauler a bomber. You'll see the bomber played as often the mauler. Perhaps even an earthborn.

Mulg looks great. He'd be great just with the arc node animus, IMO. Much excite. And people are already whining trolls are OP in the Mulg Dev Talk. I can't even. This. So much this. I have no idea why Trolls are always first to get shouted down when we get nice things. It's really, really frustrating.

Now to see if Trolls actually get to keep any of this... CID is way too much of a rollercoaster of emotions.

I am not really convinced . Yes u are able to generate 3 boosted power 16 shoots but it will also generate 5 fury and u used a 36 point model. I would play double bomber with most of my casters instead of the gk . And snipe is a way better animus. I think you should give it a try. Glacier King has a lot more utility than you'd think, especially with the concealment bubble and stationary fists. I agree, reload hurts... he's definitely a fury hog, but keep in mind that 2 bombers are putting out 8 fury each altogether, and we've got casters who might not necessarily need the snipe (Gunny, Grim2).

Really happy with the direction that this week's changes have brought.
Haven't seen anyone mention him though (and haven't had a chance to test him myself):
Borka2, are we happy with where he's at right now? Who's had a chance to actually give him a try? On paper, he still doesn't seem like he has "enough" to make it into the regular roster of playable casters.

Welp. I'm pretty irritated about this. You can buy the pieces individually for less money. Here's the retail price of each of them. Trencher Cannon Crew 32.99 Trencher Infantry and 3 Weapon Attatchments 49.99 Trencher Infantry Officer and Sniper 12.99 Trencher Master Gunner 9.99 Commander Anson Hitch 12.99 Patrol Dog 8.99 Total: 127.94 There is absolutely no reason to buy this box. Wow....I hadn't done the math on this one, but I'm glad you did...what in the actual hell? Maybe there are 3 trencher cannon crews included in the box? Though that can't be right...

Haven't seen this posted yet, so I figure I will:
Trencher Force BoxPIP 31901 MSRP: $134.99Once
More unto the Breach! The trenchers of Cygnar are among the most tenacious soldiers ever to take the battlefields of the Iron Kingdoms. The first into the fight and the last to leave it, the soldiers of the Trencher Corps form the vanguard of Cygnar’s army, holding ground against all odds on behalf of their comrades in arms. Any enemy who tries to assault their fortified positions faces a force of tough-as-nails troopers ready to cut them down with rifles, bayonets, and even the blades of their shovels.Take command of these veteran soldiers with this box, which contains a full complement of trenchers ready to support your warcaster’s battlegroup. Dig in and hold the line!
Combine this box with the Cygnar battlegroup box to build a complete 35-point Trencher army.
This box contains:
• 8-Page Trencher Primer • Commander Anson Hitch character Solo • Patrol Dog Weapon Attachment • Trencher Cannon Crew unit (3) • 2 Trencher Infantry Rifle Grenadier Weapon Attachments • Trencher Infantry Officer & Sniper Command Attachment • Trencher Infantry Unit (10) • Trencher Master Gunner Solo
TRADE POINTS: As noted in the features, this box should be combined with the Cygnar Battlegroup Box (PIP 31121) for the best effect. This also pairs well with Colonel Markus ‘Siege’ Brisbane (PIP 31131) and Grenadiers (PIP) if players wish to expand and change their options past 50 points.
Taken from DiscountGamesInc's post on Facebook. So...not sure if I'm really interested in buying this box, since the majority of the value is in the Trencher Infantry unit that most Cygnar players will have. I don't really think there's use for a second unit... but I'd love to hear someone convince me otherwise?

As a troll player I've been dealing with these kind of units the entire time I have played. Why is a Trolls unit that causes these kind of strategic issues a problem? Yep, wholeheartedly agree with you here. Not sure why Trollblood players aren't ever allowed to have nice things, but if I had to take a guess, it's because the Troll players themselves are always first to cry foul.. Bears look fine where they're at tbh. People are pricing them at what old Champions used to be at, which is the wrong direction to take since Champs have gotten cheaper.

So with the CID having come to an end, if PP were to keep the rules as they are now (they probably won't), how are people feeling about the theme? I feel like it's a really fun theme to play and see on the board, but I'm not entirely sure it's good enough to replace storm division/heavy metal, even with the changes to the lances (which for the record I believe was a very minor nerf, and in some ways a side buff).

Ugh, Borka2 was the model that brought me into Trollbloods, and the game as a whole. I've been waiting so long for him to finally be good, PLEASE don't mess this up PP.

I'm actually glad that people are seeing the Stryker2 benefits as well. I laid out some of my thoughts on Stryker2 in theme with gravediggers, and got shut down by my local meta who said "he does nothing for them". I'm waiting patiently to play it and prove them wrong My thoughts are basically that it's not so much what he does for them, as what they do for him. Providing some really solid defensive tech for a caster who can effectively sit in the zones and threat the entire game seems great.
