So I'm thinking of adding these guys to my collection, however the price point for 5 of them is approaching insane. Additionally I'm not a fan of the sculpts. Does anyone have any conversions that they've used or would like to post here? I'm looking for ideas and inspiration. Thus far I'm looking at doing something with one of the plastic units but that's as far as I've got (aside from using scattergunners as proxies). Any help is appreciated!

I don't know what I'd use as the base model for that style of conversion but I know where I would start, the gun. I'd say the guns from Cygnar's cyclone jack would be a great place to start.

Actually, yeah, I did a conversion to add some sluggers to my army for the same reason. I absolutely hate the scale of the "old" Trollblood models. Here's how mine turned out: So, as you can probably tell, I used the plastic box of Scattergunners, removed half of the barrels, and attached some bitz that I had lying around from Warhammer40k Orks. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I just ordered a box of plastic scattergunners and with some extra Blitzer guns I think I'll have my sluggers

Got 5 of mine converted. I used the plastic scattergunners and the plastic blitzer guns only require a bit of trimming to fit perfectly. I'll post some pics once I get them painted.
