To be fair, it says they were created to take on Trenchers, and the combo of their alchemical mask, strangle gas, and flame throwers do theoretically counter trenchers very well. It would be really good if they gained hunter to ignore the dig in bonus. Then maybe they'd see use over the winter guard. That's what I imagine the flame throwers are for, since they're SP8. Besides when I owned a unit in MK1 I've never seen Assault Kommandos on the table though.

A trebuchet doesn't work like the Hooch Hauler catapult is modeled.
*edit* I am way behind the times here it seems

There is an "intel" sidebar in the newest issue of NQ Prime that talks about the Vanguard and it's construction related to the Order of the Golden Crucible. Also mentions that Assault Kommandos were a result of Khador's capture of the Golden Crucible's Thunderhead fortress during the fall of Llael.

I'm a purist, so I wanted to keep the flag. I didn't pin it at all, just glued the wrist joint and then glued a lower point of the flag shaft to the horse. The way the flag angles makes that a very natural connection point as well.
Transportation, unfortunately, is a whole different issue. I keep him in a separate cardboard box that I picked up from the UPS store, a 4" square box I believe that I cut the top off. It just means if I want to play him at the game store I have to make the decision beforehand since he doesn't just come in the bag with everything else, but it's the same way with my huge base foam.

Do the stacking solo buffs not do enough? Are they too fragile to deliver reliably?
With Hawk, Rockbottom, and Walls a Sea Dog unit can charge 11.5" with boosted Mat 7 Pow 10 Weaponmaster charges, and a poor followup pistol shot. That doesn't sound too shabby to me, especially against only a "mild" armor skew

The precedent of the Llaelese Resistance getting other models (even other factions) and turning them into Llael models means that the Precursor tag could be handed out in much the same way.

I've only played him a few times admittedly, but he seems fantastic into jack bricks. Destroyed Amon and Harkevich. I understand those are kind of his dream matchups, but it's something. I mainly struggle to build a list with him that doesn't seem like it would be terrible into relatively sturdy infantry spam, so I've left him out of any conceivable list pair.

I use the Centurion paired with either the Hammersmith or Ironclad to create a front line of two unchargeable heavies, backed up by the rest. The Defenders are great since on feat turn they can activate before the feat and generate 6 more focus for Nemo to switch upkeeps or camp, as well as providing a solid ranged threat.

I like Nemo2 a lot because he is really fun to play, and similar to Kraye's Iron Horse, Nemo2 can do things with his focus matrix and feat that no other jack caster can do. Kraye is probably more competitive in my mind, and also a blast to play, but I was curious what the opinion is on Nemo2.
The list I have for him on my phone is in Heavy Metal:
Nemo2 Squire (free) Ironclad Hammersmith Centurion Defender x2 Thunderhead
Arlan (free)
Jr. (free) - Sentinel
Nemo himself is obviously the weak link, and scenario is a potential problem, but it's fun to play and isn't terrible I think.
I want to ask, does anybody have a list for him outside of Heavy Metal that utiltized Polarity Field on a unit? Storm Division would also let him actually use his veteran leader ability, but since practically his entire spell list, abilities and feat is focused on his battlegroup it seems like a huge opportunity cost to leave Heavy Metal.

I've always used Loctite superglue gel. It's around $4 a bottle, super easy to apply, stays where you put it, and holds all of my models together without pinning.
That said, I borrowed some Gorilla Glue superglue once to assemble some Grenadiers quickly for a tournament and I actually was worried I would break the model when trying to remove the arms for reposing and just stopped trying. So that's good for the single time I've used it, but extremely permanent.

So I'm picking up a boatload of pirate models. It's a good way for me to have an alternate army to play since the Privateer models are limited and I can stop myself from feeling the need to buy/expand into a whole faction. (If Zu ever gets a limited release army, that might be my "in" for Hordes)
Here's the list I'm thinking of making:
Shae - Mariner - Freebooter - Buccaneer
Commodore Cannon Aiyana & Holt Devil's Shadow Mutineers
Sea Dog Pirates (max) - Mr. Walls - Rifleman x3 Sea Dog Pirates (max) Press Gangers (min)
Hawk Doc Killingsworth Bosun Grogspar Dougal MacNaile Lord Rockbottom Bloody Bradigan
Four free solos in the Talion Charter.
I like the idea of a bunch of solos providing amazing synergies to make those sea dogs threaten super far and hit really hard. Plus the pirate solos just look cool.
The only question I have is if there are any obvious/simple changes to make that might make the list better. I thought about swapping Bloody Bradigan for a Sea Dog Deck Gun.
Thoughts?

The MK2 card deck came with a card that explained all the symbols, that might be what you're thinking of. Sadly the MK3 card decks didn't include such a card.

Just a thought, would mini-feat SNIPER be viable so they can do up to 20 damage on a single target? Edit for snipER vs snipe I doubt it for the same reason they changed the initial Llaelese theme benefit. Long Gunners could potentially destroy lists like Legion of Steel

The last dynamic update featuring all the Cygnar changes outside of the Trencher CID happened to be the second Insider on the same day. I'm not holding my breath, but this Insider doesn't absolutely mean that nothing else is happening today.
