Edit: this post lists changes made 7/19. 7/21 update is on page 3 of this thread. 7/24 updates on page 5. 7/26 updates on pg8.
Eilish: hex blast>chasten, cost 5
Pyre Troll: cost 8
Basher: cost 7
Champions gain +1 str and Sanguine Bond (from Bastions), back to cost 10/16
Runebearer gains arcane repeater (+2 control area)
Long Riders gain 2" reach
Lookouts: now available as 4 model min unit for 7pts
Raiders: continuous fire>crit fire
Bears: cost 10, handler down to 5hp, gang granted by handler
Glacier King: Push is now optional! Crit stationary instead of crit knockdown!
Kolgrima: her spray spell is now 10", feat changed so it's just the one turn: Enemy models currently in Kolgrima’s control range are pushed 2˝ directly away from Kolgrima in the order you choose. While in Kolgrima’s control range, enemy models lose Eyeless Sight XICONX and FLight XICONX and cannot make ranged attacks. Snowblind lasts for one round.
Northkin theme: snow drifts instead of bonus to starting roll

I know it's "only" ranged attacks, but has PP not learned from the last time they gave casters feats the flat out prevented attacks? Saeryn? 2na? As a Legion player her feat sounds like a targeted Firetruck your ranged beasts, though it's fairly minor.
Edit Also, given Stone buffs, Champions look like better Bastions. Nice.

Kolgrimma's feat makes Legion sad. But it makes me happy.

The changes to bears sound fine to me. It's several nerfs, but they still hit very hard and only cost one more point. Gang becoming Granted and the handler becoming a bit squishier provides some fair counter-play. The fact that they could be ambushing and thus not receiving buffs didn't really change the fact that if you just played them like "normal" infantry they would be better than pretty much everything we have. I still would love to see some buffs to other units, but several units just got some good buffs here too.
The champ change is honestly huge. The longrider restoration to 2" reach is greatly appreciated, it never made sense to me to nerf that from Mk2.
Kolgrima's feat is now much better IMHO. Before it was a push and then a future -4 to enemy DEF; now it's just a push with a giant middle finger to ranged attacks. It's a 16" range now too with the runebearer. That's actually kind of ridiculous... then again I wasn't that excited by her initial kit so we'll see if it's a problem.

I gues my issue is sanguine bond was so terrible in my experience with bastions I see it and want to puke champs issue is still getting shot off the board...
Bears are gonna be easily turned off by smart opponents that can kill the handler.

I'm glad to see long riders with 2" reach again, I hope they don't change from what they are now to be honest. I think sanguine bond isnt the best rule for Champs but +1 str is. Maybe if they had some kind of rule that gave them more armor and more boxes?

You can still plop them in terrain to trigger stealth and body block with two large bases. Seems okay to me.
I still haven't gotten a chance to play test anything in this cycle due to L&L. Hopefully soon.

The question is how common are those tools...Boosted Blasts, Sprays and e leaps all will kill the squishy handler.

Sanguine bond on 5box models at below ARM18 base is mostly the same as not having the rule in the first place.

So many interesting updates! Delivery tech for Champions is exciting, new Kolgrimma feat is exciting, buff to Runebearer(!) making many casters happy, more threat range on Longriders as requested for so long, cheaper lights... feels really really awesome IMO. Troll xmas indeed.
I think the Ambush Bear nerfs are light enough that they'd still very much see play and do good work. Attaching more counter-play to the handler is a good move, but they're still pretty reliable unless they face anti-stealth tech.

The community needs to make an effort to figure out Madrak 1 while he is in CID. This is the chance to speak into his kit and find him a nitche. His feat can be so powerful that we have to watch out that he doesn't get a single change that puts him over the top.
I can get behind all of these changes. I immediately text a buddy and said "oh look 2" added to star-crossed"
... I feel sorta bad for making him cry and all.

Madrak 1 is getting a Dev talk soon. I hope it produces a better caster. I am good with most of the changes. I would have liked to have seen more on the Pyre troll and Basher than point reductions. I am also not sure on Sanguine Bond on Champs. I'll have to playtest that one.

At least if you spread the unit out you could kill a model that hasn't been attacked yet. It's a definite advantage over not having it obviously.
