This sub forum has kind of just rolled into a grave it seems.
I'm just curious as to why. Not trying to find a new salt mine or anything. Just worried that the community is on edge or some dire depression.
I'd be easily convinced if people said it's because of how the CiD went and how the Khador toys are vast and powerful (though the khador community reaction was "this is terrible and boring").
I can't say I'm all that enthused either; I just used christmas gift money to buy a Dracodile. Minions seem far more fun right now... Not that legion is bad. I just think I really want to wait playing things, like AA or Thagrosh 2, until the rules release. It's a dumb cycle of waiting for things to change, I know.

Waiting for new toys while I get the rest of my stuff painted. Playing with minions, I just recently bought all my friend's farrow stuff to add to my gator stuff. Lack of time, I used to regularly play 1-2 games a week but that has dropped off due to mundane stuff getting in the way. I might get back into writing up my battle reports for Legion if I get to play regularly again.
Overall it seems like Legion just isn't as interesting to players as it was in mk2. They took a big hit in some areas, got some new buffs in others. There seems to be quite a bit of list stagnation due to not have all that many answers to the big lists out there (Nemo3, Denny ghost fleet) so any lists taken have to be able to handle them while your second list has to take on everything else. Not sure if we have a good all-comers-list build that isn't Fyanna2+all the fliers.
Also all the salt from the last CID cycle actually turned me off a bit. Everyone still seems to think legion is the big boogey man from mk2 so they can't get anything even remotely powerful or they will break the game. But Nemo3 is just fine . . /rant.
Just my two cents.

I think your post highlights my issue. Too much complaining about CID. Regulars here constantly whining it was a bust, and outsiders just coming here to start arguments about Chosen or Hellmouths. Both sides are wrong and the truth is somewhere in the middle.
Hopefully once the salt from the frequent posters dies down and the releases/dynamic update comes through, the faction will stabilize and the conversation will pick back up.

To little working with what we got and to much CID wishlisting to me. And, its strange time when we don't know what we have. Time betweend end of CID cycle and new rules realese is weird for list buliding ect.
I'm preparing myself for one local event with already set paring so creativiti will have to wait to event in march. And new rules drop. I have few ideas to test but I'm not super excited to be honest.
I also swapped faction a bit.

CHOSEN ARE OVERPOWERED MUWAHHAHAHA I WILL KILL THE LEGION FORUMS! KRUEGER WOULD BE PROUD! Hopefully once they actually release the chosen and Anamag, this forum will see some jump starts. The circle forum is kind of waning as well. Nothing new being discovered, no realy exciting tech to work with, and the tharn CiD is a long way away. I do understand the Khador sentiment ForEver_Blight I laugh when someone egets on there and tries to say the Suppression tanker is not that good/boring or that the chariots are bad. Tis the nature of CiD.

Well, I've been trying to lay off of my creativity forums. Though, I'm not sure that there's much else to be creative with and make, anyway, so I certainly haven't been as active as I have in the past.

I'm choosing to ignore the salt and focus on the positives out of the CID. While yes, I wished we could have had more things looked at than was presented in PT - there were some good changes.
Though I am in a weird state that I'm kinda waiting for the rules to drop so I can start crafting lists. I want to embrace what Legion has and start applying it (and less wishlisting that I'm prone to do). I want the rules in WarRoom so I can bring them to the table.

I already moved to Skorne after dissatisfaction with Legion and a sweet opportunity on a fully painted army. I paid attention during the CiD but quickly learned that PP had no interest in addressing the issues I have with the faction. What little the CiD did address was pretty good but I never really got into the faction because of the Ogrun.
Before the CiD, I was invested in the discussion of what and how to fix the faction. Now that this process is over (and largely underwhelming), there isn't much left keeping me interested. Maybe once the update drops I'll dust off what I have and give it a shot.

I have been a lurker for a long time, not having a community to stimulate the desire to be active online has been a factor. With the renewal of my local community comes the renewal of my desire to test lists and play with different lists again. I have been playing Legion since MK1 has my main faction. I don't see myself changing that anytime soon. Do need to relearn the faction again. I have acquired a lot of rust.

I just think I really want to wait playing things, like AA or Thagrosh 2, until the rules release. It's a dumb cycle of waiting for things to change, I know. This. I think Legion is just in that limbo period where, unless you were already committed to a tournament or series of games, the smart move would be to wait and see how everything shakes out. Unless PP totally destroyed everything post-CID, I think in about by late spring or early summer, people will be talking again about how to best utilize everything that got touched upon in the CID. I for one can't wait for, hopefully, cheaper heavies and usable gargantuans, and this is ignoring the Ogrun entirely.

I've mostly been lurking here, since I am just returning to the game after taking a break at the end of MK2. I'd say its probably just burn out from CiD, along with the wait for the new rules to drop.

I barely get to play and now I'm waiting on new rules to drop as that is what peaks my interest right now.

Since Legions fall from favor, I’ve been collecting a legion army. Once legion’s CID go live, I’m gonna take a break from my beloved trolls and work on learning some Legion. The beauty of it is that he Ogrun stuff is good, but the cheaper warbeastd and gargantuan is opening up some lists.

CiD was mediocre, by which I mean it didn't address most of issues and even then it seems ridiculous how overpriced our stuff was before. Oh, and all those a-holes and halfwits ("no one likes playing Legion because it's OP" - you can't get it anywhere else) taking part in CiD kinda burned people out.
Khador CiD was slap in the face.
Pagani trying to damage control on Legion facebook is kinda hillarious though.
At this point I don't give a whack. Hope this Crucible stuff will be worth weakening one of the main factions player bases even more for PP.
But to answer OP question: people hopes?

Pagani trying to damage control on Legion facebook is kinda hillarious though. I pay pretty much 0 attention to FB anymore. But I'm curious what happened. Any short summary? Screenshots? Or do I just got hunting for myself?
