So... the rules for the models, are they the same as for the models in the normal game? the ones that are free in war room seem the same to me. why should i pay one more time to get the same rules? Or are the rules different for some models? Rules are mostly the same. Anything that is different is pretty much covered in the base rules.

The rules are the same and the cards still reference the core rules. It's not like they spent hours fenagling the references to refer to a different PDF or something.

Are all the cards just exactly the same then? You could play COI with normal wmh cards?

Privateer Press has posted an Insider about Company of Iron detailing a couple of Legion example forces: privateerpress.com/community/privateer-insider/insider-10-27-2017This one has example forces involving Craelix, Fang of Everblight and Fyanna the Lash. While at first "Craelix, Fang of Everblight and Fyanna the Lash" sounds like a Caligula / Clash of the Titans crossover movie (I don't want to see the video of those two going at it!) I think it is more about showing how well some slow-selling miniatures would do in CoI. More are to follow.

There are definitely some under-appreciated models who will do really well in COI. Gudrun the Wanderer for instance is apparently strong enough to warrant -2 requisition, which I assume is because he gets 26hp when taken as your company's leader.

Alright, I have the cards in excel format and can PM them to the first 5 people who ask, as a way of limiting my hands in this in case someone tries to completely bootleg the game with vassal. If people want more than that they're going to have to ask the guys who got them for a copy.

Privateer Press has posted an Insider about Company of Iron detailing a couple of Circle Orboros example forces: privateerpress.com/community/privateer-insider/insider-10-30-2017Will Pagani starts off by declaring his pen name Pill Wagani - I'm still scratching my head on that one. The 20 point force is an excuse to blow the dust off of your Reeves of Orboros while the 25 pointer has a min unit of Bullet Catchers Wolves of Orboros, a Teleporting Orchestra Conductor Blackclad Wayfarer, the one night stand from 25 years ago a Scarsfell Griffon, and a BIG DOG! War Wolf. On a personal note, I got my copy of the game today. More are to follow.

The wageslaves grunts interns are already having trouble respecting me.

Privateer Press wants you to flood Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter with pictures and write-ups of your CoI forces using the #MYCoI tag. Apparently PP will be watching and judging what comes out, awarding the top submissions. Get the full details: privateerpress.com/community/privateer-insider/forge-your-company-of-ironI'm not sure if I will be posting anything since it is apparently "illegal" and "worthless" to combine a Swamp Gobber Chef and Doomreavers in the same Company of Iron. I'm sure those problems are slated to be ironed out in the next CID...

Rules question: when I make a casualty roll for an injured model and roll a 3 or 4 - what happens? Does he stay injured? if so - can he stand up and activate as normal? If that's the case, then you'd need to put down both an injured and knocked down token whenever someone gets injured, which they don't do in the streams.
Speaking of, this situation has come up like 5 times in our one quick testgame, and I've just skipped through ALL PP CoI videos to resolve that question - but I swear, every single model that got injured in all of the streams either gets killed before its next activation, or rolls a 1 or 2 on the recovery roll.

They stay injured, and must make another casualty roll at the beginning of their activation. If they don't die, they can stand up as normal, though they still say injured. This came up in the first rumble video...
