Now I realize that in the scope of things I shouldn't care but honestly explain the leaked Trencher Mechanics to me and compare them to our battle mechanics. I just don't "get" PP. Figure that these will become a staple in nearly every Cygnar gun line (cause 3 points) but unlike OUR guys who die to stiff breezes theses guys are almost assuredly going to be dug in until required to move SIX inches up the board. www.facebook.com/PartyFoulWMH/photos/pcb.706505909541401/706505752874750/?type=3&theater

This comparison does seem pretty disheartening, ours have a pretty cool UA though.
Maybe ours will get a looking at when we hit CID some day?

I take mechanics to repair, not to dig in and shoot stuff. Those dudes repair a d3 less for same cost. Spd 6 is the only thing I'm jealous about.

Oh just relax. Some models have more optimum comboes, some dont.
So many enviously eye our iron fangs for instance.

Also if you do remember everything about the new Trencher models state, Trencher first what ever next. Even the Journeyman warcaster is a blasted Trencher and has all the Trencher benefits. The whole Theme is basically Move up, Dig in, then Shoot. Just the way Privateer Presses golden child gets away with everything. They are a complete army model while any other factions only gets part of an army idea. Just understand if you are not Cygnar or Cryx to a degree, you are just a target for the them.

They're 5 points not 3. They were *never* taken in CID and I doubt that's going to change significantly with their full release as they haven't changed at all. Their most useful role is allowing grenadier reloads in heavy metal theme.

How about this: since you haven't put me in your will to get your gaming stuff I'll refrain from standing down below you yelling "Don't jump, I'll shoot you down!" - See, I care about you. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Though, you have inspired me to make a SWAG of a prediction: When the MoW CID comes around, Khador is going to get Assault Kommando Mechaniks.

Judging by the party foul facebook misreading the point cost as 3 rather than 5 seems to have happened en masse

It is hard to read. Honestly if it's 3 points, not the end of the world. 5 points seems more likely and for the same price we get double the unit size.

I agree, but seems clear it's a five in comparison with the FA3 on the card. They were 5pts throughout the CID and have not changed since then.

They're unfortunately not in today's update or none of this would have started in the first place This was the final week's cid. Sabotage was suggested by a forum member which Pagani jumped at in the final week but it never made it into testing. So they've just received a buff, and have never been anything other than pc5. I will eat my hat if they're pc3. Attachments:

Just scrap your opponents jacks instead of leaving them alive to repair. Problem solved.

They look average to me. Repairing d3 is good to put back on line damaged systems but still 5 pts for 3 models. Kiss of mechs are fine not because inherently strong but because you usually haven't much to put in with 3 points. 5 points you really need to make space for them.

The whole Theme is basically Move up, Dig in, then Shoot. Which is hardly a powerful design build. Shooting is generally not as powerful as melee and we should always have one list which can handle Cygnar level anti-infantry firepower. Responses to digging in can range from: "move up, spray" (Winter Guard, Greylords, even AKs) to "move up, charge" (everything). And denying AD will also be rather nice against the theme. We can do that.
