Windstorm controls deviation direction on ranged AoEs, so they shouldn't be catching much with blasts.
Cheers, Dave

Bubba explained it to me (slowly, of course. Because I'm an idiot) and it does seem nasty OW2 with two Koldun Lords and a ton of doomies means it's really hard to shoot anything!

I had been thinking something similar, though I'm not sure if I will ever get around to it. I still find Bad Santa a little squishy for my tastes, but it looks good on paper, and Bubba tends to know what he is talking about... so I will probably give 'em a go when the theme drops . Especially because Old Witch 2 is involved... I will be playing her with EVERYTHING . One more month! I've been meaning to ask as well (Haven't seen you around the forums much lately), where do you play? I know you're like... more or less in my area (I'm in London now, used to live in Guelph). Always looking for more places to play!

I'm in Toronto! I normally play at heroes world or cardboard classics.
I do get out to the Dragon for tournaments though. I was out there for the wtc fundraiser this weekend.

Aww, didn't realize the Dragon was having a thing... now I'm sad I missed it! Guess I've gotta pay more attention!

It will have more I am sure! Are there any game stores in London?

When I lived in London I used to go to a club called Tanelorn.

I think Tanelorn (the club anyway, not the city?) is in the original London . If it's in Ontario I certainly don't know about it. London Ontario has two game stores where warmahordes is active on a weekly basis, the latter of which is running a Steamroller sometime in September (can't remember off the top of my head, think it's the 9th, might be the 17th). The Gamer's Emporium (where I mostly play, smaller physical location though so 12+ man tournaments are out of the question) The Game Chamber (other side of town so I don't get out as often, but still great!),

... OK, this all makes a little more sense now, I was wondering why Wendan was asking about gaming stores in England right after declaring that he lived in Canada...

It's always amusing to me (particularly with London) to show Brits pictures of places named after various landmarks and see their reaction as to how... less significant some of those places are here

Huh, that's only 2.5 hours away or so! Not something I could drive out to on a weeknight, but a weekend thing would be doable!

That's assuming you have made the appropriate sacrifices/prayers/general pleas for mercy to whatever deity governs the 401. More than once I have almost missed an event because of that godforsaken highway (and like, non-gaming related stuff too). *Has 'nam flashbacks to trying to get to SOO on time*
