Hey Guys,
tl;dr - PP store seems to have dropped the ability to buy individual metal parts, any idea what happened?
Long Version:
Starting a game in IKRPG soon, and was planning on playing a Khadoran Backwoods Old Faith Menite Priest and thought about replacing the axe on the Kossite Woodsmen unit leader with a hand holding a Menofix to represent my character. I can see a few models with hands that would be good for this, but when I popped on to the PP store to place an order it looks like they've dropped the section entirely. (If anyone has any suggestions though, I basically just need something that has one in the left hand.)
Anyone know if this is a temporary thing as part of the move, or a move entirely away from this type of thing? It always did seem not quite worth their while to me, so it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to stop selling individual metal bits.
Thanks!

Edit: sorry if this reads as ramble-y, it is late and I should probably be sleeping . Somewhat lamely I think my personal answer is: It depends. The void archon has some tasty rules, no doubt. But I think most of the established Wolves Archetypes don't see as much benefit from a pair of them. I don't really play this sort of list much, but my understanding of Doom Reaver spam is that the number of bodies matters. The Void Archon seems to help them hit a little harder there, but I don't think you're getting your points worth if you're not playing a caster that can protect doomies well on the approach.. Someone like Old Witch 2 could probably make good use of a double Void Archon Package though! In her case you can probably better justify dropping a unit or so of Doomies to make room because of Wind Storm. Between Curse of Shadows, the Koldun Lords, and dark shroud from the Void Archon, you have a tasty bit of potential for arm debuff, and wind storm helps the Doomies get where they are going so you have less need for raw numbers. Other casters who are good at protecting models on the approach could also be interesting... Zerkova 1 and Irusk 2 probably have some potential, though I still think Old Witch 2 does it best. On the other side of things, I don't think Zerkova 2 or any of the lesser spell-slinging variants really want to drop spellcasters to make room for these guy... but I could be wrong. Outrider sprays ignore target in Melee penalties, and Void Walk could get the Archon into interesting places. I suppose it will require testing when the model launches. If you wanted to run a jack heavy variant, you could probably get some use out of them... but I think you'd still want to save some points for a small unit or two of something.

I like the idea. The feat and Arcane Might are very good on Eliminators, and he can even make a Manhunter a scary, scary thing. I don't know how heavily I'd lean into the jacks, though. 4 would seem like plenty. I think the thing that worries me the most is the lack of targets for the feat. In most of the permutations I have seen you only have 6 eligible targets for the feat, as you can't put it on characters - a Forge Seer could work in a pinch I supposed. I know it's 3+d3, but I still wish there was a bit of redundancy there (like if manhunters were FA 3 or something haha). Man, I wish you COULD put it on characters. One of the Journeyman + Feat + Arcane might would be AWESOME.

If you really wanted to do this, it might be worth it to hand off some of the jacks to the Journeymen casters to take some of the focus load. Pretty much everything Vlad can do for jacks does not require the jacks to actually be in his BG.
It's worth keeping in mind that Vlad's feat can't target characters. So it might be worth throwing in some Kayazy Assassins? Alternatively, provided the positioning works out, Kossites or Forge Seers can work in a pinch. Speaking of Kossites, ambushing/charging and using Arcane Might to boost their melee accuracy could be interesting, but would require some careful positioning to not die. It's going to be hard to get hand of fate on the Kossites, but they could use it.
I think a colossal might be interesting on Vlad instead of Behemoth and some other things if you had the ability to do so. Both of them make a decent hand of fate target if you had otherwise small units. Perhaps something like this might be somewhat effective? Your results may vary - I'm a sucker for Forge Seer Marshaled Ragers if they can be given a free charge, so there may be a better battlegroup composition... but I still think Vlad himself wants a Colossal, or at least no more than 2 jacks on his person if you wanted to do Behemoth + another cheap jack. Anyway, here goes my suggestions.
Without Kayazy Assassins:
Khador [Theme] Jaws of the Wolf
[Vladimir 2] Vladimir Tzepesci, the Dark Champion [+27] - Victor [34] - Greylord Adjunct [4] Greylord Forge Seer [4] - Rager [10] Greylord Forge Seer [4] Kovnik Andrei Malakov [4] - Marauder [11] Kovnik Apprentice Kratikoff [4] - Juggernaut [13] Manhunter [4] Manhunter [4] Yuri the Axe [0(5)] Kayazy Eliminators [0(5)] Kayazy Eliminators [0(5)] Kossite Woodsmen (min) [6]
With Kayazy Assassins:
Khador [Theme] Jaws of the Wolf
[Vladimir 2] Vladimir Tzepesci, the Dark Champion [+27] - Victor [34] - Greylord Adjunct [4] Kovnik Andrei Malakov [4] - Marauder [11] Kovnik Apprentice Kratikoff [4] - Marauder [11] Manhunter [4] Manhunter [4] Yuri the Axe [0(5)] Kayazy Assassins (max) [15] - Kayazy Assassin Underboss [4] Kayazy Eliminators [0(5)] Kayazy Eliminators [0(5)] Kossite Woodsmen (min) [6]

I've actually been playing Vlad 1 with two Gun Carriages for a few months now and have really enjoyed it. I think the list will be generally improved when Oblivion drops because it will enable me to take Sorscha 0 or Joe as free choice, which should free things up a bit, as points often feel quite tight to fit in everything.

Oh, I'm with you. I was only after P18 on the saw in the CID; our jacks just jump from P17 to 19 with nothing in between (which means there's no credible alternative to a Juggernaut), and it would make it distinct from the Destroyer. I did like someone's suggestion of Clear Cut too, if only as a ribbon ability. But I always chuckle given how vehemently the Decimator was defended during the CID. But anyway! Back on topic; I hope you do well with Strakhov, welshhoppo ! He could use some time in the sun That Clear Cut suggestion was me (or me as well, I forget which of us suggested it first)! I still wish they had gone with it, Hungerford even commented in the thread that that was an interesting option... Pow 18 would have been sweet too though...

I went to champions yesterday with a Vlad 2 Armored Corps / weird Irusk 2 Wolves of Winter pairing (two units of Doom Reavers and Nyss Hunters with Valachev)... did pretty well for myself (ended up going 3-1 before they cut to the top 4).
It was a lot of fun, I wish I could have participated in Masters today... but I had a previous commitment and couldn't attend.

Oddly enough, Durst has been my answer to "what caster would you most like to steal from another faction?" basically since his release ... so I'd say I am pretty darn happy right about now... so long as this sticks.

Don't worry guys. Sorscha lost and it looks like Vlad might lose to Carver, but at least you've still got old witch. <3 Old Witch, I hope she wins!

^That was my observation the first time I fielded this. My Swamp Troll freakin ate Maxwell Finn! He was a good boy - Saved us a bunch of trouble.
Part of me thinks replacing the Croak Hunter with say... a Gatorman Husk might be fun. Unfortunately I don't play Company of Iron all that much, so who knows when I'll get a chance to try it next.

The counter charge isn't a huge deal by any means. They were honestly originally added to the list when I was building it to face the Gaspy3 Slayer spam match-up (Mat 7 auto-knockdowns and a Chain Attack: Grab and Smash let them reasonably knock over 2-3 slayers in a turn, which allows the Dracodile to be far more efficient into Def 13 heavies than it would be ordinarily). Obviously, even if that hadn't faded from the meta entirely on its own, that particular build isn't a concern in Champions. I've since found the pair to be useful enough into Circle thanks to native Pathfinder, Mat 7, and Brun being tough enough to tank Lord of the Feast to the face if he has to, that they've remained in the list. I do think you gain some pretty significant advantages though by swapping in Rorsh and Brine, so I by no means think you've made the wrong choice I haven't actually chosen yet by any means. Truth be told, as far as will work for food goes, I am still evaluating the merits of Rask vs Sturm and Drang . I do like having these kinds of conversations though, I can definitely see how those two would help with the Gaspy matchup, especially if you could then TK Lug away after he did his thing to make the Gaspy player burn through some focus getting to you. For reference, here are a couple Rask options I am looking at. Unsure if Dahlia, Wrongeye, or a 2nd Wrastler on Rask is actually the better option in the second one. I do like having mire around though here, because he can get more rages out for fury strapped Rask, and if necessary give Rask Hunter for a key shot, or throw out non-conditional pathfinder to things that don't have it (not that that is ALWAYS useful, but for situations like trampling into forests to get line of sight on stuff hiding behind it, it can be key!). Dracodile Variant: Minion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Will Work for Food [Rask 1] Rask [+27] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] - Boneswarm [7] - Swamp Horror [15] - Gatorman Soul Slave [0(5)] Bog Trog Mist Speaker [0(4)] Gatorman Witch Doctor [0(4)] Lanyssa Ryssyl, Nyss Sorceress [0(4)] Rorsh [15] - Battle Boar [7] Underchief Mire [4] - Dracodile [36] Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew [2] Rask + Friends Lite Minion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Will Work for Food [Rask 1] Rask [+27] - Boneswarm [7] - Swamp Horror [15] - Swamp Horror [15] - Gatorman Soul Slave [0(5)] Bog Trog Mist Speaker [0(4)] Dahlia Hallyr [17] Gatorman Witch Doctor [0(4)] Kwaak Slickspine & Gub, Croak Sorcerers [4] Rorsh [15] - Battle Boar [7] Underchief Mire [4] - Blackhide Wrastler [16] Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew [2]

So I've been on a bit of a minions kick lately, and have thrown this little list together in case I get some COI gametime in the near future. I've always liked Croaks, and COI is pretty "Theme" friendly, So here goes!
Minion Army - 25 / 25 points
Underchief Mire [4] - Beast Handler Upgrade - Swamp Troll [8] Croak Raiders (min) [10] Croak Hunter [3]
That being said, a boneswarm would also be a pretty compelling choice mechanically, less on-theme though, and there'd be less benefit from the beast handler upgrade so it would probably have to be something else... hmm...

I think I agree with your insights about Soul Slave, however I'm not entirely sure Brun and Lug work the best for me. Usually I find the mat 7 really helpful, but the counter charge doesn't seem like enough of an incentive in this case. I'm glad you find it works though!

Azahul What would a typical Sturm and Drang list for you look like? This is what I came up with based on my own reasoning... there's probably room for improvement however! Only downside right now, is that I literally own no other pig beasts, so any changes I make can't go down that route unless I decided I want to do some shopping . I should probably try to work a Bog Trog Mist Speaker in there though. Minion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Will Work for Food [Sturm 1 & Drang 1] Sturm & Drang [+28] - Battle Boar [7] - Razor Boar (2) [7] - War Hog [15] - Targ [0(4)] Dahlia Hallyr [17] Eilish Garrity, the Occultist [0(5)] Gatorman Witch Doctor [0(4)] Orin Midwinter, Rogue Inquisitor [0(5)] Rorsh [15] Underchief Mire [4] - Dracodile [36] Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew [2]

Hey Guys,
I've got an upcoming Champions event, and to shake things up - I am planning to play Minions (Also, not hugely interested in buying 4 more doom reaver units just yet... but that is another story).
I've kinda got stuck on how exactly to play things. I don't actually own Arkadius, or a sufficient number of pig beasts to make the best of his toolkit, so I am probably not considering him at this stage... which leaves me with three choices - all of whom seem to want to be played in Will Work For Food.
My gut tells me a Barnabas 1/Rask Pairing is the way to go, particularly in the Champions Meta. Though the Sturm and Drang Dracodile list I've seen floating around seems really powereful, it seems to me like some variant of Rask in WWFF is a pretty good answer to a lot of the heavy infantry stuff going on in the available themes of other factions.
My main difficulty at this point is that I can't really come up with a Blindwater list that can address some of what I see as the blind spots in those lists. Namely things like Doom Reavers, Sentinels, and the like. Though I can see Rask making a decent Blindwater caster in a pinch, freeing up WWFF for Barnabas 1 or Sturm and Drang.
Anyone have any experience with Champions in this Roster? What did you do, and what do you wish you would have done differently? Is there something I am missing with my analysis?
Thank you!
