For those curious, the gun carriage went up to 38 boxes. Thats the only change to our battle engine so far.

Well everybody loves it but its dull as heck for me. I wished it did its job better, not survived longer to do a mediocre job.

Given that the game is focussed on attrition now there are worse things to spend points on than a repairable ARM 20 model with 38 boxes.

I was hoping for little more for the gun carriage in cid. I'm still not sure about it, but 38 boxes is a lot.
The siege crawler on the other hand, arm 20, 40 boxes, siege weapon and road block. I can see that thing being boss with either Sorcha.

But it will feel way less squishy now, I already like it in some lists before, now it's just going to be better. On plenty of occasion I've used it very agressively and it did a lot of work but died after, now it's going to take way more efforts to actually get rid of it, 14 more HP at arm 20 is a lot.

Still boring.
Issue with it has always been effectiveness, not survivability. This is buffing the wrong aspect, and in a boring manner too it feels. Comparing changes to it to those made to the Fulcrum, the Storm Strider or even the Ret Cricket it feels phoned in.

Not saying our freaking WGI need recursion, but its still such a cool ability.

Maybe Shield Dwarves under Strak2 and keep feeding them in to CRA stuff under last stand?

Tactical Arcanist Corps would be my pick. Could run it with like pSorscha or the like. Also works on them even if they're being run by Valuechev in like Zerkova 2.
Probably more relevant for merc players given the fact you're breaking every theme ever

PPs thought process just continues to disconbobble me.
So apparently the Gun Carriage being able to charge as cavalry, is comparable to being able to boost? I at least got that they know that its not as good, but that's just weird thought processes.

Just charging is 2 focus, because charge takes one + boosted attack roll takes one.
