I've altered my above list to reduce the uhlans to min, and then add in another Forge Seer and a marksman. I highly agree that the seers really do add some much needed focus to his lists.

Yeah, Seers probably make him playable. I think mow theme will actually make him see table time again. Any Jaws list I try to assemble with him screams "take B3 for energizer instead".

He is super killy! I've been trying to figure out how far to push him in combat. I seem to get him killed a lot. It always seems like I throw him imto melee one turn too early. Probably time for a temporary tattoo on your hand that says "wait one more turn", right next to the one that says "don't forget to feat"

Ok... I can't believe I'm seriously thinking about this as my anti infantry drop... But what about this?
Would pair with Karchev in Jaws plus 8 Jacks. Karchev is for lower model count armies. This is for anti infantry but has a crazy ARM hating spike to it. Both B2 and the Grolar with Beserker present serious PacMan threats. If fury is on the Grolar...at POW 21 he could munch through high arm multiwound dudes! The Kayazy and Widowmakers give you volumes of feat tokens. Ruin is...well...Ruin. Double seers give you +2 focus.
Damn...looks fun as hell.

I think that looks really good! It'll chew through a bunch!
And yeah, Kuarnix. That is probably a good idea.

So I put a silly list together.
B2 Jaws of the Doge - War Dog -Juggernaut -Juggernaut -Juggernaut -Ruin -Devastator
Forge Seer -Behemoth Forge Seer Widowmaker Marksman
Battle Mechanics with officer.
Played into Kaelyssa and took two Hydra shots to the face and nearly died top of turn 2.
But a miscalculation left a sentinel within 7 inches of Butcher, so he surfed through 8 of them, used eliminator to kill the standard bearer and move within 2 inches of Kaelyssa and then killed her.
It was also my 50th victory in MKIII. Good times!

Yeah, it was pretty much perfect. I had 5 focus, which was enough to boost both attack and damage on eliminator. And I had enough fury tokens to beat Kae to death.
But I don't know if there was anything that B2 can do that B3 cannot. Except boundless charge.

Boundless charge, and give all jacks plus 2 mat and spd, that can be nice. Not to mention Fury!
I dunno, I'm looking forward to pairing him and B1 tonight.

he can kind of replicate the speed part with Energizer... but yeah, the extra mat is always handy in a pinch

I'm not settling for anything less than getting 360° melee arc back. If I'm going to risk waiting around to use him as my anti-infantry drop, I should at least be able to use him to kill an infantry squad without having a trigonometry book on hand. Ahh yes.. that is also something I'd like fixed, either change the wording so things behind him dont stop him, or make it 360. It's like they hate him or something. I'm a little late to the party - but didn't they change that? Back arc doesn't count as in melee any more right? I thought that killed the eliminator charge into back arc gimmick, too.

I think you might be correct on that one. One of those things where I archived it as not working in my head then forgot to update it. So his horror show does still work if you can get him there. he'll still get gummed up on our on models but I suppose that can be worked around.

Well it's only in his front arc. And he'll berserk and kill anything short of a man o war in one hit.
Also, it's cheesy but his loss of 360 los means you can alter his melee range to increase the distance moved. Basically by moon walking backwards. It's hard to explain without a diagram. But if you have 2/3 models base to base (like in shield wall) you can make it so that only one is in melee range at one time and so you can get 3 inches of movement.
