So I built an Irusk 2 list (not sure though - the looming nerf to Artifice is worrisome)
You can fit it 2 full units of Ulhans....AND a unit+UA of Black Dragons.... AND 2 iron fang Kovnicks, the Bears AND Markov.
That gives you SIX countercharging models all which you DO NOT WANT TO BE COUNTER CHARGED BY siting behind the uhlans which can be moved thorugh (some under Irusk2's bubble and the others under Markov).
Bears - Well flanks is god damm good + Precision strike (IF K bubble) IFK - Pow 12 counter chargers with Precision Strike. Seems legit to this neck of the woods and the cherry on top of the cake Markov - who hits with Pow 16 precision strike lance _AND_ a 4 inch AOE that on the critical (seem Cav charge for 3 dice) gets a shot at the knock down.
Seems legit ;-)
Other casters can also run but I think Irusk 2 is among the best.

Moar banes, Khador style. I'm torn between 4 units with kovniks and 3 units + more countercharging stuff. Seems like 2xUhlan is indeed the way to go no matter what you take after that.
My first draft will be Kozlov, then Irusk1. I'm finding Irusk2 to gravitate toward shooting dudespam.

Irusk 1 is very interesting. Defensively feat and even if the Uhlans get shot they are alive 50% of the time. Inhospitable ground will be frustrating to, for example, menoth weaponmaster spam and IF is always very good. The main downside is that you give up being able to SEE stuff through the Unhlans except under Markov's bubble.

I've been running a z1 list that I think I'm going to go Iron fang theme. It had 4 things I'm going to lose, behemoth ruin reinholdt and ragman. But I also had the full fang boat, think I'll just go all fangs and more vanilla battlegroup. getting 12 free points and countercharge on 3 models that go through other models seems real good. I might drop a juggernaut to throw in the bears as well.. might be good. Wierd how the bears are not necessarily a good swap for juggernaut anymore eh?

She won't "tune them up to 11" but with the cloud wall and the feat will be absolutely able to deliver a lot of them into the frey. I think the choice hinges on what you drop as your "anti shooting list". With the drop of Badder Santa (would can go in theme) I am really tempted to pair Irusk2 with the Fangs (for both a dudes be gone and then into low model count armor) and then Hark with clouds and ragers and forge seers for my anti shooting list. Through in some mauraders and juggers and it looks like profit.

The thing I've been working on with Z1 has less to do with delivering them, and more to do with giving them two meaningful charges in a game. It's a problem I've wanted to figure out for some time, and I think with two units of chaff and 3-6 countercharges, and of course the feat, they're going to get their double impact. My problem is I've been running it with ragman, and I really like him in the list. Z1 also really likes syllys or reinholdt. but I'm relatively sure the theme will be better.

I still love Zerkova1 so much, I'm certainly going to be playing her in both this theme and Jaws.
But I, for one, as apparently the one person in Northern California holding on to Cryx, am very much liking the look of the number of souls I'm going to start seeing on the table due to these themes.

As a Cryx and Khador player too, I have been saying that for quite some time. These theme encourage more infantry, that makes cryx happy (also Grimkin absolutely need corpses)
But I will run IF-Theme with Strakov 2. This seems to be made for each other :
ssault Kommander Strakhov & Kommandos - WJ: +22 - Assault Kommander Strakhov & Kommandos (Cont.) - Kodiak - PC: 13 (Battlegroup Points Used: 13) - Kodiak - PC: 13 (Battlegroup Points Used: 9) - Marauder - PC: 10 Iron Fang Kovnik - PC: 0 Great Bears of the Gallowswood - Volkov, Kolsk, & Yarovich: 9 Iron Fang Uhlans - Leader & 4 Grunts: 20 Black Dragons - Leader & 9 Grunts: 17 - Black Dragon Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 0 Iron Fang Pikemen - Leader & 9 Grunts: 15 - Iron Fang Pikemen Officer & Standard - Officer & Standard: 0 THEME: Legion of Steel Bunker - Steamroller Objective

Ok, This is my first look at a list. Lord Kozlov War dog 2x Devastators (28BGP) 2x IF Kovnics (Free) Kovnic Markohv 7 Great Bears 9 2x Max IF Uhlans 40 IFP 15 with (CA Free)
This is my first take on the list. Hot Swapping fury and Tac Supp on IFP seem strong. With 7 models with counter charge you can give a lot of headaches to some players. Uhlans will need to be used as heavy hitters and assassination threats. The great bears are there as a 2nd wave counter charge threat. (can you repo after a counter charge?) I have a barebones battlegroup, which I'm not happy about. Would have like to have more ranged hitting power, but the 2 clams for scenario control and and the speed buff from the feat should help minimise the shooting taken.

Now that I think over some more about it, the countercharge+precision strike+going through models interaction seems very strong. Either crippled system or knockdown can mess an activation completely.
Something like: Bears Markov 2x Kovnik 1x Fang unit 2x Uhlan or Fang unit
Seems like a solid core.
2x Destroyers to have at least some shooting or 2x Devastators to bait opponent's alpha for jacks. Or maybe just a colossal.
Not much choices sadly, but it definitely feels strong.

I think Strak2 or Irusk2 or at least Z1 are the best for the IF theme. Maybe Z1 can be the solution for all the weaknesses of the theme (snipers, corrosions, spells), but she has not ARM buffs or DMG buffs.
Same as Irusk, tough is always nice but he can't speed the fangs up, so you have to go with uhlans IMO.
Strack2. Guys.
I will play him probabily with bears, 1 full uhlans, 1 full vanilla and 1 full BD. The BD take AD and they run forward the enemy with quicken and the ARM buff. They have iron zeal, and the feat. They are the new sentinels, arent' they? And they get tough in feat. Amazing.
The only thing is that this list under strakh is difficoult to protect against spells (debuffs or corrosion) and snipers shots (negate the tons of ARM and the tough). That's the only bad match up, because you manage the terrain well (uhlans, vanilla and bears have pathfinder on charge), you have ARM spam and you have ARM cracking. You lack of magical weapons, also.
All the strack spells are made for IFP, exception made for return fire (destroyers? decimators? Itself?). Last stand is awesome on charge. 4 dices at pow 12. You wreck everything. Quicken and iviolable resolve speak for themselfs. Lock the target is a bit short ranged for what it do, but can see applications.

I like the Z1 idea, especially since she can give ghostly to the Units

So far I have made lists with Vlad3, Strakhov 2, Kozlov, and of course Butcher 1 Classic Claws style. I do like the Z1 idea as well!
