I'm pretty stoked. Iron fangs and a grolar are both things on my list of stuff to get.

Yeah I don't think a second unit of archers is possible without dropping the battle engine, and I'm kinda married to it. The rifles only made it in because of the free points. It was them, healers, Arcanists, ghost snipers or the dragoon. Making anything else free reduces my points in houseguard, this taking away the free models.
I feel like the two rifle teams justify the second Thane, but making the Halberdiers an even bigger pain in my opponent's behind is really tempting.
The banshee idea is intriguing. I'm going to think hard on that. I originally had one in the list but downgraded due to points. This was before the theme though.

So I already had an Ossyan list built and come to find out it works great with the new houseguard theme.
I did a few tweaks and I'm pretty happy with the list. However I'm wondering if might be a good idea to drop a houseguard Thane in order to bring a Lys Healer and Soulless Escort to buff up my Halberdiers into an even harder to remove roadblock between their army and the rest of mine.
I'd love any thoughts on it, including if you have any other thoughts on the list.
Here's the list:

It's so weird we have a thread about the siege crawler and the Merc forum doesn't.

It looks like Dallas is using double stick foam on a spray can lid. My guess would be something like 3M command strips, they will hold very well and should be relatively easy to remove without damaging the model. The 3M stuff is great. I use it to hold minis to the pill bottle I use when painting. It was the stand he is using that threw me off from recognizing the spray can lid.

Aerosol can lid with double sided tape or sticky tack? Thats what it looks like to me anyway. Ok, yeah. I can see that now. He has it balanced on top of some kind of stand and that was throwing me off. Now I want to know what that stand is he has the lid on.

Just watched the latest P3 video on two brush blending and I now want to own whatever it is Dallas is using to hold the mini. Like seriously, can anyone tell me what that thing is?

I was thinking along the same lines the other day. I came up with the below list while mulling it over. Unfortunately I haven't played enough MK3 to really say if it's all that good or not. Also not sure if it would just be better being run by Vlad2 or Irusk2. It's so hard to tell with Vlad1. He's damn good, but a total one trick pony.

Yeah it's pretty sad how empty it is compared to the old forums. Anyone have any idea where else people fled to?

tesoe, here's the text as it is in the document now: A measurement marker is a token, template, glass bead, or other item used by a player to mark a specific place on the board based on pre-measurement. For example, a player might use a glass bead to mark the charge range of an enemy warjack, or might place an empty model base to determine if a friendly model will fit into a specific space after charging an enemy. A player cannot have more than one measurement marker on the table at any time. (Example: A player wants to determine the best position for his model to make a ranged spray attack. He measures the distance the model could advance, and places an empty base as a measurement marker. Then, he uses his spray template to measure from the marker to determine various attack opportunities. This is legal. The player could not, however, leave on the table a measurement stick indicating the potential advance of the model, the empty base indicating the model’s potential location, and a spray template indicating the potential attack. That would result in three measurement markers left on the table, and would be illegal.) There was a salt mine post where they said they were considering a change that allowed several tools to be used in aid of making one measurement (so a few different pieces to lay out a movement path for a model would probably be fine), but that was yesterday and the thread got locked with the promise it would be discussed more soon. Thanks. The current wording is a little interesting. Sounds like you can use as many measuring tools as you want, as long as you don't take your hands off them. I've never seen measuring aids clutter up a table that bad. Is it really an issue that needed to be addressed?

I'm not part of the CID. Can we get more details on the rules about measuring devices?
