When given the opportunity a player will deck out a Jugger in Twin Bucklers, Twin Ice axes with Pathfinder and stuff, and it wouldn't be all that expensive anyway. I'd actually accept that as a character jack. Like a bigger, badder, version of Drago.

I thought it was more a resource issue? That too. The materials used are expensive to obtain. Just like the stuff in cortexs. Which is why we only have heavy jacks. It's more cost effective to only out cotexs into thing that are hard to kill.

... we've been told since forever that we can't have arc nodes because we only have heavy jacks... That is wrong. We can't have nodes because khador lacks the know how and tech to make them. It's never been about jack size.

A question/complaint that has always bothered me, why is Cygnar loaded with lightning and electroleaps when virtually nobody has an immunity? Every other special attack has some counters spread through the different armies. Especially with single wound infantry starting to come back more and more due to the prevalence of theme armies. if you listen to some cygnar players I know, the faction is barely competitive as is and would probably implode if more models had electric immunity.

Actually, just read through the new Cryx book and it goes into detail (well not much detail) how they iron liches were made, and apparently it is Turok that made the iron liches including creating their bodies for them, asphyxious included. But now, they can be created by specific lich lords that know the rites, it involves corrupting the flesh, replacing parts with necromechanka and binding the lingering soul to the body. I'm imagining Toruk with dragon sized clockmaker's tools daintily held in his claw tips, and magnifying goggles strapped to his head, bent over some dude carefully replacing bits with necromechanika.

I'm accompanying my dad to an army reunion thing in Vegas this weekend. I was always sure the first time I'd go there would probably be for the LVO. Oh well, should still be fun.

I got the Orboros 2018 AiO and it brings the entire kits, at least for beasts. I assume it's the same for infantry as you get the usual plastic unit box. That is good to hear.

I believe it should be, the old Army Boxes were full kits, but I don't know for certain about the new ones. . . . Thankfully I'm not interested in Iron Fangs so I don't need the Khador box! The old all in ones had complete kits, but the recent starter boxes didn't. So I figured it's 50/50.

We, just pre-ordered the army box. I'll finally own iron fangs. Really hoping it's a pair of the full kits, but I doubt it.

I've also been reading a lot more manga than normal comics lately. Rather enjoying the Ultraman comic and One Punch Man.
