LINK: Apparently roughly half of the models in the game are going to see an adjustmentThe actual changes will come in on October 25th, and the article previews the nerfs. It explicitly says that anything that gets changed that is not in that article will be a rules clean-up or a buff... which is interesting because Khador has no nerfs listed. There's a couple of indirect ones, such as Blast Immunity being replaced with Blast Resistance (+4 ARM vs Blasts) for a number of sources including Iron Flesh and Solid Ground. But all of the Archons have gone up in price and all of them except the Thamarite Archon have also received additional nerfs, which I think is delightful Anyway, interesting times ahead! Could it be that AKs and Iron Fangs might actually get some love? Will Harkevich cease to be useless? I wait with bated breath...

Interesting times ahead! I'm really out of touch right now so I have no idea what to expect. There's a couple of minor things that I've wanted for a while, the biggest being MAT 7 on the Spriggan and Alchemical Mask for Torch. Sorscha2 really needs Freezing Grip back or something, and Karchev getting his boosted attack rolls back would be nice too. I've always thought Strakhov's Veteran Leader shouldn't be limited by command range - his personal elite Kommandos shouldn't stop being elite the moment they're more than six feet away from him. Oh, and Black Ivan needs to go drop a good 4 or 5 points (it's fine if he sheds one or two of his less useful or thematic rules while doing so), same but to a lesser extent perhaps for Behemoth. And as always, give me back P+S 18 on buzzsaws!
I'm sure that's not what the faction needs, but it's more about the model's feeling right thematically to me I guess. The previewed nerfs for Archons feel like a bit of a light touch to me, I wonder if they will make that much difference?

I suspect they're nerfing with a very light touch; wouldn't want to invalidate everyone's purchases after all. The points thing kind of depends on game size. I doubt it makes a blind bit of difference at 75pts, but would be a massive deal in 25pt Brawlmachine.
I think a lot of things in Khador are fine with a small points adjustment, but yeah, the Decimator could do with an actual buff and I think Assault Kommandos and the Legion of Steel theme need a solid rework. I guess any caster they buff will be reworked, as it's not like they have a points cost... Hark, Sorscha2, Old Witch1, and Butcher2 are probably our least played casters?

End of the world? No. Will it reduce my options? Yes.

Huh.
So, assuming the MoW Kovnik doesn’t have any unexpected changes to Desperate Pace and that Armored Corps doesn’t somehow lose the advance move benefit, that means MoW Shocktroopers end their first advance in Shield Wall at either the 20” line or 23” line, depending on whether you went first or second. That’s…unexpected.

That Wolves of Winter change is a weird one. I don’t know how I feel about it.

That Wolves of Winter change is a weird one. I don’t know how I feel about it. I don't like it, too fiddly. Tokens and focus and different phases... someone pointed out that if they kill both your units with tokens, then you won't get the theme benefit next turn since you need to wait until the caster's activation to put the tokens back out. I'm guessing by the turn after that the game is probably over.
There's something to be said for clean simple rules after all.

Yes, slightly more fiddly but also more interaction.
It's a sidegrade: on one hand you get two units to zap around, on the other hand your opponent knows which ones so it's slightly more predictable.

you get two units to zap around As long as your opponent didn't kill them last turn.
