You actually lose points if you do min units of shocks or bombers. Only demos are cost-efficient in min units.

Min units of shocks are good for order of activation. They don't really need the full unit to function and it can be worth the extra point.

This especially in light of Primal Terrors builds where you can happily pick up 3 units of Warmongers, take a unit of Chosen and still have points for your Blight Bringer and support. Which is quite a lot of highly dangerous beef. Anyway, specifically I'm looking for lists where the goal is to cut support, necessary or not, max box count and yet also maintain enough flexibility to be effective in a real game where you can't just flop a huge amount of beef onto the table. So you want to maximize box spam, but also want to be able to play into matches that are bad for box spam? Blimey, start with an easy one why don't you? There's a few fundamental differences between Armoured Corps and Primal Terrors. First off would be that the theme benefits are better for Primal Terrors when running this sort of list; Vengeance on your whole army is a very significant uptick in speed and attack volume. Secondly is the nature of Legion. They have beasts that support in a wide variety of ways, so they can use their WBP as 'support'. We can't. Finally, the units available add a lot to the capabilities of Primal Terrors; the Hellmouth is a great scenario piece, Rotwings are not bad, etc.

I would also disagree that Primal Terrors is innately so superior at spam because Armoured Corps can bring its own spin on it. Namely the shooting aspect, control and the absurdly dense formations you can run when you have access to Tactician. Plus, Khador by and large have superior infantry buff casters to those Game Ogre has access to.
That said, I like that list a lot. Reckon Conquest for a Victor, cut the Garbage for that second Kovnik and you've got yourself a competent list. Creeping Barrage generally unnecessary I've found and you don't need it on such a wide front either, the Tankers already do a solid enough job. The Victor gives you some long range poke, fixes accuracy because MAT 7 is sometimes really below average and gives the occasional hillarious FFE opportunity. And...as such it'd work pretty well into Primal Terrors, who don't really care about Creeping Barrages but do care about getting Firebombed randomly or buried in rough terrain on their non-Gorag Units. And the Strike Tankers are solid vs Chosen

I was merely saying that you used Primal Terrors as an example of how it could be done, but that Primal Terrors is a very different animal to Armoured Corps. I didn't say that it was superior, I said it played very differently, and I stand by that. (Personally, I don't think Primal Terrors is actually a particularly amazing theme. But it pairs well with Oracles, and is better than Children and Ravens, so it's going to be pretty common for a while) I'm sticking to my guns on the list, too. I think Conquest is better at what you want; control. Viktor's main gun is all manner of cool, but I don't find it excellent at control here. The best control effect is Crater, and Irusk can already do that more accurately. I also feel like a RAT4 gun is not a reliable fix to MAT7. Viktor is much better at blast-immune things, though, which may be a consideration Creeping Barrage shuts down WM spam at greater range than the tankers, and covers a larger area. Crit Dev, whilst rare, is insane when it comes off.

Also depending on caster sentinals. Obviously doomreavers and POSSIBLY IFangs since they can't stay base to base through the template.

People have been talking up Irusk2, if you want him over irusk1 i really think you need to take advantage of his whole kit. This being tough, FFE, and tactician (stuff irusk1 doesnt bring as heavily). This also more than just replacing atanas with irusk2, but also bringing in mercs that take advantage of irusk2 as well.
I think cylena will be a great combination. No blast damage saves them, tactician and valachev lets them hop over MOW and repo back behind after shooting, and battle lusted weapon masters? As well i think the list brings some spam elements to the table.

What weapon master spam are you actually seeing where POW 10 blast templates stop them??? Banes, Errants, Knight Exemplar, Doom Reavers, Sentinels if they don't have the mini-feat up. For not-really weaponmasters, Iron Fangs, literally everything with 'Nyss' in the title, Fennblades. It won't stop Champs, big Exemplars, or really buffed Sentinels or Stormblades. (basically 'can you get ARM18+?' or 'do you have multiple wounds?') Everything else is fair game unless it's immune to blasts. It's worth remembering the template is not an attack, so things like Unhallowed & Deceleration don't count, and that its trigger condition means that things like Wall of Steel and Shield Wall often don't count.

I kinda missed the fact that you can take 4 units and all of them can have a UA and 2 kovniks on top. Pathfinder can be an issue, but we can change it into: 1x kovnik 1x shocks+UA 1x demos+UA 2x bombers+UA and have a slot free for a Saxon/Ragman. Which seems to be absolute brutal list under V2/V1 with Saxon or under Z1/I1 with Ragman.

Reductio ad absurdum, the most bodies I could get to is 28, which involves maxing the field allowance of the cheapest option (demo corps). For maximum meat pies, the free options are all tankers. Interestingly, the total number of Man-o-War boxes here (74 points @ 230) is pretty close to the box count if you just spammed 9 berserkers (72 points @ 243). Less armor but probably more wasted overkill damage due to the large footprint.
Bonus points for getting 3 heavies (almost) out of WJP entirely.
