Horgle2 = very sad, with all their Fire Immunity. Slag's animus was waiting for a faction with lots of corrosive attacks? Thankfully melee Erosion will still take a chunk out of their 'jacks.

With all the continuous effects, full stone with elder might be mandatory against them

Having just played against Lukas, their "weakest" caster, it is not looking good at all. Fire immunity, Grievous Wounds, and -2 ARM all over the place, full cloud walls available in every list, range 16 shots with Arcing Fire over unkillable screens... yet another faction that is excruciating to play against. Great.

I haven’t looked at them very much, but generally their MAT and RAT seem a little below the curve. I think the idea begin this is that you hit the enemy with ice cage first to lower their DEF. Logically, a northkin def skew will be pretty good into them.

Im looking at playing CG a while. What i think i will NOT want to see is a fast scenario list. If i am so use all the "bunker building" i can do in CG i will be vulnerable on scenario. SotN seems like a fine choice against them in general.

Definitely need a list that doesn't build around tough. Boomhowler, Fell Caller is sad. I'm building Kriel Company for my drop against them, lots of shooting on single box units, staying out of those GW clouds. Any of our shooting casters at least will have an easy time hitting the collasal, it's definitely priority target numerous uno.

I've played a couple games into it with madrak 1 sotn and it felt very very even, with madrak perhaps advantaged on the more live scenarios.

Great. Grievous wounds is pretty bad for Trolls. Fire immunity is for Horgle (and what else?). A question to -2ARM: is that from Rust or can they also actually apply this to anything we have that is not a Battle Engine? The clouds suck if you can arc above them. The cloud wall also is possible for Haley and Kolgrima. And you can always shoot and then couldwall, so the arcing fire is not soooo much better. BUT I did not play against CG yet and they seem to go powerfull into CID.

Here's the video I watched for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. They toss the stats up on screen too. It's a great channel too, lots of Trollbloods battle reports. youtu.be/RhrCZiMH-HM

He really feels like he's missing something, and unreliable arc nodes aren't helpful.

Did you take advantage of the +4DEF skew that Ashen Veil plus Cloak of Ash creates against living models?

Did you take advantage of the +4DEF skew that Ashen Veil plus Cloak of Ash creates against living models? Didn't have the opportunity in my game. I'm not saying he isn't viable, he just seems lower tier compared to the other CG casters. Almost like a less interesting King of Nothing.
