Guess it would be fun having a HHH + WW in the same list. If veteran leader works on all nothrkin models then it's worth bringing more northkin beasts and the northkin elder along as well. KC is just a few tweaks away from being a great theme, most notably a buff to most of our shooting units is required.

Because I think this could be a party: Grim 1: KC' -3 Ice Trolls 2X Fire eaters 2X War wagon HHH min stone with UA Braylen Runebearer Thumper
If anything its at least got a hilarious amount of medium pow shooting

Otherwise it looks pretty fun.

Ok, having played the HHH multiple times here's my general snapshot so far: 1) Large Target, hard to kill unless focused on. 2) Casket shot is decent. Likes to hit things. Rat5 makes it very difficult to hit things (even troopers). Seems like I need to find something bigger in a group of smaller things to hit. 3) Again, low RAT seems to cause sprays to miss more. More importantly having left/right sprays means I miss a bunch in one direction, then can't fire the second group in that direction to clean things up. 4) Not having good utilization of Raiders+HHH. Either it goes up, but doesn't get oil on things they can get to. Or they go up and get shot while lining up turn 2 oil shots. Some of that is me, some of that is the dance of models. 5) One game I didn't apply Stumbling Drunk when I should have. Next game I did but ended up effectively moving myself out from where I wanted to be. Mixed results.
I'm genuinely not sold on Borka. He up's defense against Range. I'm finding here I have to feat for the stealth instead of the stationary (though in tonights game, I didn't feat early, lost 5 raiders/3 FEs, but the Stationary held them back a turn for me to try to go up on points).
In my mind, and maybe this is the wrong way to think, but I'm thinking... is this $160 going to see the table... and I just don't have an honest answer.

I have played it in Kriel Company with Grissel2 and Raiders. I have been pretty happy with the results, it normally provides the extra damage needed to finish off a target or, allows the raiders to do it.
Grissel2 and her knock down are important I find.

I've been thinking about this list for a while:
Doomshaper 1 + Runebearer (free solo) + Mulg + Bomber
+ Fel Caller (free solo) + Valka (free solo)
+ Hooch Hauler + Raiders (full unit) + Bears + Fire Eaters + Stone Scribes with Northkin Elder
+ Feralgeist (for scoring)
Although I'm having trouble settling on a battle group. I feel like D1 really wants beasts that are self-sufficient and can do work on their own. The best I could come up with is a Bomber and Mulg.
The intent of the list is to throw the opponent off-balance by moving the Raiders, FEs and HHH up the board quickly. The opponent would then be crippled by D1's feat as he tries to establish control over the board. Anything that doesn't die at first gets cleaned up by the Bomber, Mulg and bears.

I think that in general, the Bomber is a strong contender for best warbeast in the game. HOWEVER, i think that this list becomes very interesting if you exchange Bomber for Rök...

Yeah Rok with goad can be terrifying. He's also a great northkin free upkeep target for both fortune (b/c berserk) and guardian beast (fully boosted crit stationary spray out of activation can cause your opponent headaches). Access to primal is preferable to snipe for casters without ranged weapons, and getting to take advantage of vet leader+stumbledrunk+northstone buffs mean in this instance there's a ton of synergy for Rok to take advantage of that the bomber can't...

FWIW, Hooch Hauler will be added to the Kriel Company Theme per Privateer Press' Twitter. Has anyone seen this happen yet? Or are we still waiting on this? I've just checked War Room, and it doesn't seem like it's made its way in yet.

I asked PP on Facebook about it, the person running the account said they are just waiting in the Devs to push he update.
Hopefully they do it before this weekend so I can use it at my local Steam Roller.

Played my first game with HHH yesterday. I played Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North (Borka 2) Borka, Vengeance of the Rimeshaws [+27] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Pyre Troll [8] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Whelps [4] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Northkin Elder [3] Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] Played against cryx. pDenny gunline that was something like that: conflictchamber.com/#c4201b_-0Vkv191s1s1fe21skoklknkmknkyCryx Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Slaughter Fleet Raiders (Deneghra 1) Warwitch Deneghra [+26] - Deathripper [6] - Leviathan [16] - Leviathan [16] - Nightwretch [7] Aiakos, Scourge of the Meredius [0(4)] - Leviathan [16] Scharde Dirge Seers [6] Scharde Pirates (min) [8] - Scharde Pirate Officer [0(4)] Scharde Pirates (max) [14] - Scharde Pirate Officer [4] The Devil's Shadow Mutineers [8] Match up should have been quite hard, as enemy have 3 guidance on list (1 for all leviathans) and leviathans shoot quite hard with parasite and denny's feat. BUT I was lucky and on feat turn all three leviathans roll only 1 shot and parasited HHH was left alive. Turn earlier I get really good scatter from HHH and killed one Scharde pirate officer, grippled node from one arcnode and did 6p of damage to denny herself. Overall I was really happy how HHH performed, as veteran leader for whole army was really good buff. Even Borkas's spray feels worth casting with skill 6. HHH:s own sprays hit next to nothing and feel quite boring, but boosted pow8 aoe4 blast damage was really impressive. I didn't use beer wagon on whole game, because before denny's feat turn, I didn't want my models to stumble away/closer to enemy and next turn I forget.

I also got a chance to use my HHH for the first time. Played 2 games yesterday, one against King of Nothing, and one against Stryker2.
Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North
(Grim 2) Hunters Grim [+25] - Glacier King [35] - Pyre Troll [8] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Bog Trog Mist Speaker [4] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Northkin Elder [0(3)] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Northkin Raiders (max) [15] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18]
The HHH did a lot more work than I was expecting it to. Seemed to contest/tank almost as well as the GK did, and soaked up two rounds of melee damage from a stormwall. The HHH did half of the stormwall's damage on its own, without mortality. I was SUPER impressed with its damage output. Much like Jarrow stated though, I found that it just didn't hit much with its spray without mortality or mark target up.
I'm enjoying using it, but I still feel like it's missing a rule or two to put it at the same level as the war wagon. It can't really shoot well, doesn't have much range, and doesn't quite have the melee impact of the War Wagon. I think in order to get the most out of it, you really need to build around Oil and Veteran Leader. I'd like to give it more time to unlock it, but need to start getting in reps for Kingdomcon, so will probably end up defaulting back to Madrak1.

Hooch hauler oil barrel is a trap. With only an 8" range aoe 4 it's there to help the hooch hauler and that's it. But the hooch itself feels like it needs the lookouts to help hit things.
