Well, that is what whelps are for! People try to jam the bombers if they have the units for it, and i try to prevent it by shooting said units down, and dislodge the bombers with my other heavies. Also, if you are lucky, you can dodge back with one of the bombers. Janissa is probably a good idea in this list, to clear off a bomber, but i hadn't thought of that when i built the list, and now i am off on other projects Swap Janissa for the Runebearer. I know befuddle is nice, especially on Callandra's feat turn, but Janissa's anti jam is really good.
Alternatively and I apologise for being "Wacky" Swap one of the maulers for an Impaler + Janissa. Impalers hit pretty hard and it's easy to fish for crits with Dhunian Knot and Calandra's toolkit. Also offers you some control.
With a base of two bombers and a Mauler this list is tough to go wrong with. I can see bouncers, Earthborn, swamp and even night trolls being relevant. Calandra is my next lock purchase for sure.

This is Trollock though, the day he runs a Swamp Troll is the day after they fix the Skinner I've been trying to get him to play them since MK3 launch.

Slip a swamp troll into a madrak2 list sometime trollock 16" pull is often forgotten. Talk about jank He could move 3" with warpath also! and have the feat up and kill a couple of guys to move even further before he shoots. Almost guaranteed to work, right

Warpath is limited to once per turn, but it does open up key picks or janky assassinations.

I've been losing to Khador (good player), melee skew lists with 5-ish warjacks + supporting cast, so...
Considering: Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] The Power of Dhunia (Ragnor 1) Ragnor Skysplitter, The Runemaster [+30] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Earthborn Dire Troll [15] - Earthborn Dire Troll [15] - Earthborn Dire Troll [15] Northkin Shaman [0] Northkin Shaman [0] Troll Whelps [0] Dhunian Knot [6] - Trollkin Sorcerer (1) [3] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Stone Scribe Elder [3] Trollkin Runeshapers [9]
Filling the stone with POD is not as difficult. Ragnor's Pulverizer + Rage (and SSE +1 STR) makes an EBDT WORK. With the prevalence of terrain features in our MK3 battles (usw 8 pieces), +2 SPD is relatively easy to acquire for EBDT's, sometimes the ARM 22, occasionally DEF 14. Runeshapers are there for Dig In contesting. Sorcerer because, what else? [Alternate might be -2 Maulers, -Sorcerer, - 2 Scribes, + MTK for ranged threat and +2" melee for multi-'jack kill from 1 model, followed by 3 EBDT 'screen' ]
Early in MK3, before POD's existence, I'd run this (-1 EBDT) to 100% win rate for 6 games, but with all the shiny 'new' models diversity drew me away. Time to revisit, now that our venue has become more experienced in MK3!

I played my current Jarl list (double bomber, EBDT, Mauler, Slag, Swamp) in to Karchev in the new tier (6 or 7 heavies, with widowmakers, double eliminators, mechanics and 3 free solos) this monday, and he actually only killed two models. My EBDT and a whelp. I had killed everything but 3 jacks, one of whom was severely crippled. Unfortunately those guys were the things contesting him from scoring his last point, so he won on scenario. I played too defensively, but attrition wise i was owning it. I had a a missplay with one of my whelps that was too far away to be eaten, and i had to take 2 frenzy checks, who both failed and both charged my non-fenzying beast and boxed it in so it couldnt come up to contest his flag. With better positioning (or getting to go first... that always helps) i could have won the attrition handily and started contesting properly earlier. I let him score on my turn when i ran in a whelp to contest and had him counter charged (duh). that was my last activation so he was more up on scenario than i wanted and it payed off for him.
Anyway, i guess my point is that i think we can comfortably play against many of the jack spam lists with our heavy spam lists. I love the Bombers, cause they can take a heavy off the table before the trading starts, and one khador heavy does not remove a troll heavy, probably not even with Karchev Feat, but one troll heavy (with rage and stone) does kill a khador heavy. I am more worried about the rocket spams, though Jarl has that under control.

I'm pretty sure I was the first to come up with the idea of the Mud Wrestling list, which is Calandra with a Sea King and Earthborns. It's challenging but fun.
I'm still tinkering with your Grissel 2 shell, MK and Bomber x2, but Chris Dancocks won big with it recently.

Flanzer has also been experimenting with Madrak 3 and 100 points of beasts but he builds around a Mountain King buffing lights. I have my own streamlined version that I do want to play: conflictchamber.com/#b71b_-0bgP5-c6czcz030hed5L5L7dfJfJTrollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] The Power of Dhunia (Madrak 3) Madrak, Great Chieftain [+29] - Earthborn Dire Troll [15] - Mountain King [36] - Night Troll [7] - Night Troll [7] - Pyre Troll [9] - Troll Axer [10] Horgle Ironstrike [0(4)] - Slag Troll [10] - Slag Troll [10] Janissa Stonetide [0(4)] Northkin Shaman [0(4)] Northkin Shaman [0(4)]

He will be more useful there than attached to the Knot.

@big Fat Troll whats the original? The idea seems quite amusing but I really do not like the specific loadout of your iteration. Would much prefer Glacier over the Earthborn, Nights and Pyre to make Fury Management easier on Maddy (but don't exactly have a good idea on what to do with the 3 points - swap a Slag to a Pyre and add a set of whelps?)
