Is Lylyth1's feat turn with as many sprays you can cram viable at all? I was thinking of her in OoA for Bayal, Carniveans, and Sorceress to just kill enough guys to slow recursion. Maybe go out of theme for Typhon too?

Maybe go out of theme for Typhon too? quality sprays come on beast that are priced well and above that purpose. So trying to cram those models in just for that you're paying a lot of points extra for not enough effectiveness. Same with in faction blast damage. Ghost fleet and hopefully a theme + CID time could bring the warmongers into the equation. But again we have 1 source of berserk and 1 source of killing spree. So just like sprays and blast we're not efficient at clearing that many dudes. Maybe Circle can find a good counter and push ghost fleet out of favor.

Considering Vayl 2 in Oracles into Ghost Fleet (and Cygnar as well). She has some preferred options into Denny Ghost Fleet, namely Occultation to protect from being assassinated, lots of magic attacks and a strong assassination run on Denny herself (providing the Seraph can land the Flare). Overall though I think she is just a strong caster and in Oracles she is also a viable drop into Cygnar (among our very worst matchups I believe). Crucially she has no RFP into Ghost Fleet so this might be futile theorycrafting but would be interested in testing if she can manage it anyway. Considering something like this: conflictchamber.com/#ca111b_-0tbtaQaQbvcObfeJeJaObebeb9b9gs___-0tewaQaQbvbwbgaO29bebecocob9b9gsLegion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Oracles of Annihilation (Vayl 2) Vayl, Consul of Everblight [+28] - Carnivean [19] - Carnivean [19] - Naga Nightlurker [8] - Nephilim Bloodseer [8] - Nephilim Bolt Thrower [11] - Neraph [12] - Neraph [12] - Seraph [14] Blighted Nyss Sorceress & Hellion [0(6)] Blighted Nyss Sorceress & Hellion [0(6)] The Forsaken [0(4)] The Forsaken [0(4)] Bunker (Objective) [0] Thinking of pairing it with Fyanna 2 or Abby 2.

Hey, welcome to the new forums! I like your list. It doesn't run any infantry which is interesting and I like that you decided to play a mix of Carniveans and flying beasts. Thanks! Considered your Hex Hunters w/ Bayal and Vessel package as well (and it certainly seems viable) but am a little concerned that the Hex Hunters will just die trivially to electroleaps in the Cygnar matchup. So all beasts it is! Really like the Neraph in Oracles right now.

I think the sacral vault is a good idea if you're trying to get a list designed to play into ghost fleet. It's got high armor so it's pretty defensive against the guns, it can be immune to the single wound infantry charging it, and it can help protect against Denny's spells. +1 this. The Sacral Vault is currently Legion's best Ghost Fleet answer.

Plus it's not just Denny Ghost Fleet. It seems Terminus is a popular one too. I don't expect the Sacral Vault does any considerable work against him. (I don't own one and I've yet to proxy it. So I don't have personal experience to leverage) I think we could find better ways to tech against Denny 1. The twins really are specific anti-cryx tech. Banishing ward, marked for death, and occultation.

When you kill and take over the leader of the Revenant Crew unit and RFP him after the attack the unit loses its recursion for the rest of the game. Arcane Vortex is just the cherry on top.

But you don't have to RFP the leader. He just has to die, then no model in the unit has the recursion rule. oooh... Rengrave could bring the leader model back. But that's still not horrific. Rengrave has to kill something. The leader model comes back but you don't get to roll recursion from that leader till next round. So you'd still be fighting the spawns, but nearly as badly. Ok, I see the merit. I think we could still deal with the tide in other ways. But if you have it and like it, the vault would work.

I thought the leader had the officer ruling so that if he dies someone promotes but the don't get the rules that go with it. Like Gatorman Bokor and shamblers. If the gator dies a shambler becomes the leader but none of the magic abilities. (I do not have warroom in front of me to check. If I did it'd been a simple answer)

If they don't have a "leader" though, there's no legal place to return them so they stay dead.

Can confirm that the Sacral Vault is excellent tech against GF, as described above.
Beyond that, Legion is in a bit of a bind because Deneghra1 solves for everything, while also having a massive assassination threat. Killing her isn't out of the question, though - but that's where Terminus becomes a boogeyman.
The new Throne, provided it keeps its RFP, could be a pretty good response for Legion, but I don't want to count on that until we get the actual rules. If it stays as is, it will still die pretty trivially on its way to battle - whether or not it can actually make it upfield fast enough to contribute will depend on if it gets any boosts to its mobility (SPD 5 vs a predominantly ranged list with massive debuffs that we can't remove isn't going to make it an auto-include).
