The 3 lights are all on the Vanguard chassis, one of which is the Vanguard.
The Heavies are on the Toro chassis I believe, there is IKRPG artwork for the Toro, but they said on a podcast that they will not necessarily reflect exactly the new sculpts.

personally I am hoping for a new plastic Vanguard kit that has the parts for all 3 variants, like the Devout/Dervish/Purifier kit

using an excisting jack for a "new" faction is pretty lazy :s

using an excisting jack for a "new" faction is pretty lazy :s I don't think so, it fits thematically, and it is only 1 jack out of 3 lights and 3 heavies that have been confirmed. Combined with the merc options they have confirmed Crucible can take, it's a good way to provide a gateway into the faction for people.

Also, it has the added benefit that the Merc players are now hoping/dreaming that the other jacks on the chassis will also be available to them. (Caine 3 getting a good light with a gun is just what he wanted for Christmas)

(Caine 3 getting a good light with a gun is just what he wanted for Christmas) If I re-call correctly the Vanguard is the only light that will have Makers Mark, the other two are an experimental arc-node and a jack with 'cool shot types'
I believe the only other jack getting Makers Mark is the Toro.

I will keep an eye on the CG. I just might have my limited faction.

Yeah, so far I'm loving all the designs I've seen. They might just be what gets me playing again. And for those interested, this is how the Toro's been depicted so far.

Looks a bit like a cross between an Ironclad and a Juggernaut.

Looks a bit like a cross between an Ironclad and a Juggernaut. I'm pretty sure that it's supposed to be an older design like the Nomad and Berzerker so I wouldn't be surprised if the Ironclad was based on it (in-fiction, obviously IRL we know which one came first). IIRC it's also very similar to how the original steamjack designed looked back in the d20 days.

That might just be the most plane-Jane warjack I have ever seen. Like if I had to give exactly one picture to someone to represent the standard warjack aesthetic on this game, that picture would be it.

The Toro in IKRPG is known for being agressive, with Countercharge. I think the Rover is on the same chassis.
Personally, I hoped the designs would be more inspired. I liked the idea of their warjack theme being all overachieving lights, kinda like an inverse Khador. PP never said or implied they were going that way of course, but the idea of an all-light, advanced warjack stable is interesting. Mostly, they show up for utility in lists, with the rare exception of Stalkers and Grenadiers with Trenchers. Ret lights as a group are a notable exception, but mostly only with one warcaster. A bunch up up-punching, nible, tough and techy warjacks with few boxes sounds cool.

I get what you mean boozy, but from a fluff perspective it'd make sense they'd tinker with existing designs rather than make all new ones (hence the Vanguard variants, which they designed after all). And since they aren't technically a nation, that they'd use the production capabilities of Ord (hence the Toro, which also gets to run/charge for free in addition to Counter Charge in the RPG).
Then again, they apparently have tanks in addition to rocket men with gravity bombs, so.....who knows.

To be fair, a lot of the faction's aesthetic so far is "IK Harder". Steampunk robots, steampunk tanks, steampunk jetpacks.
