Well, the timetable is set (CID 2018 Insider) and barring any changes I think we'll get the Tharn insider after the summer September/October.
If they follow the Trencher/Trollkin model (Not a sure thing as they keep changing gears) we'll get a few models and a few changes...
Any idea what we get?
- I'd like to see Nuala go Solo and a non-character UA for Bloodtrackers to give them a decente, reliable movement ability. As it is, it baffling that a previously mobile unit is static compared to more than a few Wall Shield units. This relies on PP agreeing with me and releasing a new Bloodtracker box so... looong shot.
- We know the caster, it's the one we got the preview a couple of months ago.
- A couple of character solos... But what type? A Super Blood pack guy to go along with a rework of the unit? Sounds likely.
What changes are needed?
- Blood pack is the most obvious one and the only unit I haven't seen played. - Ravagers could get some mk2 love - My bloodtracker pipedream. As is Nuala has no place in a unit and trackers are played for sheer lack of options. - Wold Riders... Well... SPD turns out be faux because 1" reach and POW 9 WM is very very low end... Bells&Whistles wouldn't surprise anyone.
Let's keep a think tank going so we can suggest with a lot more vigor than we did for Bradigus/Wolds.
What do you guys think?

Well we sure do have a long wait... *sigh*
Some Changes I would Like to see:
1: Blood Pack -Cost reduction, gain prey or some other form of damage+accuracy buff
2: Ravagers -Cost reduction, maybe gain a Pow increase or gain Brutal Charge like in mk2
3: Bloodtrackers -Base unit is fine, but they need a UA that gives them a bit more direction. The base unit wants to hit moderately tough targets and skirmish, nualla just makes them really really kill infantry good. I would like to see them gain repo 3" from a Nualla instead of swift Hunter.
4: Wolf Riders: Cost reduction and some sort of Pow or accuracy increase. My gut says just give them prey as well because its super thematic. Maybe gang instead?
5: Tharn Ravager Whitemane: -Would love to see his axe just become straight grievous. Right now the night witch just does infantry mulching better
6: Lord of the Feast: -Points decrease, gain back reach, ditch thresher and give him some other ability so He can use his bird and hit multiple dudes. He is just so terrible at everything right now its pitiful...
7: Kromac 2: -Can we please make this guy his own thing? Right now he just is a worse version of kaya 3..... --Would love to see awakened spirit or Vengefull replaced with a damage buff of some sort. Like fury --He is so squishy. I think he needs to be almost as tanky as Borka 2 or the child. --Let his feat affect infantry..why not he is the lord of the host now that he wields rathrock. I would love to see him become a combined arms caster.
8: Death Wolves: -They probably could see a slight points reduction. I would like to see all these 3 man character units be as use-full as the legends are in skorne.
Thats my CiD wishlist for tharn. Would be for sure nice to finally get some decent infantry support in faction.

Feral: 15/16 pts Pureblood 15/16 points Stalker 18 points Gheotrix 20 points I would like a mat increase on the stalker. Mat 7 for 18/19 points seems acceptable. I would also like to see Loki added to a theme. Wild hunt seems appropriate for him. Ghetorix would be a nice addition. He could probably gain Relentless charge and go down to 20 points and be fine.

I would like to see Morvahna1 and 2 in the CID. Morvahna is the savior of the tharn and is highly tied into them fluff wise and both incarnations of her are just lackluster right now.
Give Morv1 an infantry damage buff spell and fix regrowth. On Morv2 give her a better upkeep removal spell and extend scales to control range. Leave her feat nerf in place. As an alternative proposal Morv could be fixed by fixing brennos but that's a whole other ball of wax.

My thoughts:
Blood Pack: should be hitting hard targets from range. Give them range 12" and a volume- or burst-fire esque rule called 'big game hunter' Ravagers: Slight points decrease for the UA, brutal charge. Vengeance becomes a tactics ability. POSSIBLY +1 Armor. Bloodweavers: replace the healing ability for something else. Dispel back would be nice. Nuala: Repo 3", swap quick work for a mini-feat of some kind. Death Wolves: Start with a corpse each. Right now they're a weird mix of necessary in devourer's host (because they use corpse tokens much better than anything else) and useless outside it. This fixes both issues nicely.
Kromac2: Make him work well with Tharn. Carnage is a start, feat affecting all infantry would be another good step. Add some kind of defensive ability or damage buff and good to go.
Lord of the Feast: 2" reach, blood reaper. Alternatively, gains army support ability (Ie. dark shroud).
Wolf Riders + Champion: the hell if I know, the unit seems useless and the solo moreso.
Warpwolves: Point decrease, feral gains pathfinder, Stalker gains Mat 7 Satyrs: pathfinder, +1 POW across the board. Riphorn to 13 points.
Rotterhorn: gains a spray attack, kill shot shot, and animus that gives wailing for a round Razorwing: increase P+S to 13, 1" reach, 8 points.
Bonus round: Una1 gains FM: long leash.

I was happy to see that Circle was called out as being in CID next year, however, I was quite disappointed it is so late in the year. Strictly speaking it seems that Legion and Cicle both deserve to be next up in line given the state of the factions. Obviously both can be played, but you have to work so much harder than your opponent to get equal results as both suffer from heavily overpriced beasts and a lack of good infantry. As a side note, due to this whole CID thing I feel really painted into a corner by PP. I really want to play Circle and Legion (my two hordes factions), but they just seem like beta factions when I compare them to Grymkin, Skorne, Cryx, etc. I also own Cryx as a faction, which I may be forced to play in the short term, but I simply don't enjoy them as much as Circle and Legion. To be fair, I could certainly play them as is, but something deep in my soul just drives me mad every time I look at the points of a carnivean or warpwolf chassis model compared to their usefulness. ***Rant over
On a more positive note, I am very excited that Tharn will be the core of the next Circle CID. I think my biggest hopes are as follows:
1) Adjust Tharn infantry to have a specific role other than killing infantry. I love brutal charge on Ravagers, and Wolf Riders seem like they would be solid with Prey. I also think Trackers getting Repo3 from Nuala is a true no brainer.
2) Warpwolves need to be addressed. I like the idea of a general points decrease, and I really do hope we get a mat7 Stalker. It really makes a lot of sense that our main damage workhorse beast would be Mat7, especially given his steep price tag. I also really hope Ghetorix picks up relentless charge, or we are given some in faction way to give pathfinder.
3) I completely agree with the proposed changes for Kromac2. His feat should affect all models, and a damage or defensive buff outside the feat would give him a nice niche.
4) I really hope we get a bounding charge type animus. There are plenty of beasts who could pick it up, and it would go a long way to helping the rest of the faction in general.

Why isn't an/the Avatar of the Wurm eligible for points or as a free option on the Wurm's theme? 7: Kromac 2: -Can we please make this guy his own thing? I would love to see him become a combined arms caster. All Large base casters that are not cavalry need a buff to make up for being super-slow cav without it's benefits. In relation to Kromac2, I'd like him work along with the Tharn, perhaps Elite Cadre if they don't want to give him an infantry upkeep? A few suggestions: - Power Attacks. - Fist attack and a Combo-strike representing Axe to the face. - Bells&whistles to make up for less speed, no boosted charge attacks, no impact attacks. Powerfull Charge? Animus for free like a lot of the more beast-whisperer warlocks? 8: Death Wolves: -They probably could see a slight points reduction. I would like to see all these 3 man character units be as use-full as the legends are in skorne. Thats my CiD wishlist for tharn. Would be for sure nice to finally get some decent infantry support in faction. You pay for them with Corpse token(s) but they finish their digestion before you put the on the table... As is, they are overcosted for a melee character unit in general and underperforming. MAT 7 is kind of insulting as well.

We have a theme that does the exact same thing, for every beast every turn, why can't' her feat do it for 1 turn?
