And yet you clearly had to start bickering at me?
Moving on!
Wells dropped a massive amount of points but cannot bring in Wolf Rider Champions. The most appealing piece they could pop into existence (in my opinion). Are wayfarers and such worth the now 10 point investment? I would still argue they are not. The only thing I'm liking on the well now is the +2 ctrl range.

Wolves got bumped more, thats shurely aprechiated (better is better). Wonder if they will kepp all their candy, however it's CID after all. I think they all look pretty good now, even the Rip-Horn is now not an auto-exclude

I just can't understand the rationale for adding more hitting power to the stalker and more accuracy to the pureblood.
If the stalker's role is a heavy killer (which it now is) whats the purpose of the feral other than a primal bot?
Also... why is the pureblood the only (i may be mistaken here but not by much) non-character heavy-with-a-spray at RAT 6?
Whike i want to see werewolves back on the table i think this is not the way to go.
Wwolves do not need more power or Mat...please stop.

... This is a game about plastic army men. No one is here to take away your toys. What do you mean plastic?!?!??! I agree wolves don't need MAT7, ST 14 to play. I think Ghetorix is probably as good as its going to get. Rapid Healing on a ARM 17/19 30ish beast looks really good. He could get some sidebuffs and it won't move him powerwise. I'd like him to get his Tharn Axe back and to get Powerful Charge. The Feral is ok as well, he has 3 initals, 4 Fury and hits well enough. Very versatile, ARM 16 is a bummer but Warpwolves are like Space Marines everything is good so they become a little expensive for what they do. It's a result of their design. Good enough IMO. Pureblood RAT 6. Very good. As the Ghetorix, cosmetic changes may happen but don't think he is going anywhere from there. Stalker is my issue, he has a huge potential but now he is mostly unable to fullfill it. Getting to hit a wounded target and sprinting is good but he is still a vey expensive model and who wounded it? It's not like we have a gun-crazed Living Light Warpwolf (Why don't we?!?!?). POW 17/19 base is a direction I didn't think they'd go.

IMO, at this point the Warpwolves are good on their own, we just need better tools to support them in COTW. Like jisidro points out, we really need some sort of effective gun beast to help soften targets up, maybe a goat with a machine gun , let's say he was some sort of Cygnar defector who stole their tech. This type of change won't occur until COTW gets its own CID though, so for now we are looking at a patch of sorts. I feel like Warpwolves are all great in other themes at this point, it is just COTW where they feel underwhelming, and again, I don't believe that is actually due to the Warpwolves themselves, but the tools they have in that theme / the casters that support them.

It's not terrible enough that it's likely to draw attention (it's just almost strictly worse than Bones). It's almost certainly not going to get a bunch of releases (we already have so many beasts that there are issues with distinguishing them from each other. Unless we get a bunch of gun beasts, I don't see it happening), and we're not Cryx or Cygnar, so it's not a priority to ensure we have all of our themes be competitive quickly. -I'm reasonably satisfied with the Pureblood. I think it has a decent place now. -I think the Feral will see play as a one-of (it's worth 9 points more than the Gorax if you're taking a list that wants primal). That doesn't make it good, and I don't see playing more than 1, but it's acceptable. Personally, I would like to see it gain some additional utility. Crit Grievous on the claws, maybe? - The Stalker still confuses me. I'm with jisidro on that one. It can't kill heavies, it's priced as though it can kill heavies, and Circle doesn't have access to caster-independent damage buffs in CoTW. Maybe if the Blood Shaman got added to CoTW (though then he's sacrificing solos)... - The Riphorn needs a better animus, but is otherwise likely fine.

Yeah, I worry that COTW won't see its own CID as well. Although, I would be surprised if we didn't see expanded beast or unit options as the faction grows.
