There could be, but Circle's internal balance is bad enough that it needs a near-Skorne level overhaul, especially in the units. Legion is sorta in the same boat. Our beast+support is just better. Yeah, I don't at all begrudge Legion their CID. Retribution getting theirs first is whack, though...and I friggin' PLAY Ret. And Cryx JUST got a damn CID with all of the Bane stuff.

Well I know that Gaston Cross is becoming a full fledged warcaster...And stealing souls apparently.

Looks like their fluff reasoning for theme force domination is that through the ever evolving warfare in WMH, certain forces in each faction have specialized to the point of seclusion.

I'm both excited and wary for ord to get it's own faction

I'm both excited and wary for ord to get it's own faction I'm excited that it means Rutger Shaw might finally get his character jack.

Must be the desparation rising. Now that Khador has set roots, the dream is becoming more and more distant.

I'm really liking where they're going with this. Explains why the crucible is getting more active, and also carves out design space for the grim resistance theme force apart from the techwizards.

Ooh. I like that. The Resistance has grown bitter as allies have abandoned it. Their chances of victory are basically fantasy now. They need to adopt crueler means of warfare to have a shot at beating Khador. So, Gastone is using some sort of necromancy. That's cool.

Its main allies turn out to be pillagers as well. They were initially thankful for the retribution, but now realize that it's ALSO just there to take whatever it wants.

If the initial theme spoilers still hold true, they'll even use protectorate troops despite the fact they're also effectively invaders at this point...
