For Doomy the ADR is basically just so that i can switch in three slags instead of two of the heavies if i am up against jack spam.
For Ragnor, the ADR is so that i can switch out runeshapers + a light for an Axer + 2 shamans if i wish. Or switch in a Pyre troll if i am up against fire based assassination lists (unlikely) or switch out either the storm or the Runeshapers for another Bouncer.
ADR becomes way less powerful when you play in theme obviously, but it has some merit at least.
