I'm frustrated with the new salt wagon role. It looks like what I would expect a ranged skirmisher to look like with the horses out front and those weedy ghetto wagon wheels. It looks like it would flip over and smush the horses if somebody jammed a spear in the front wheels. I was going to mention the artillery Kapitan, but I'm not even sure if he'd help it all any more . . . π

Khador player checking in. I very much enjoyed your blog. I just wish it had a tad more detail in the battle reports.

I really like your new additions! The Alten alternate is a fantastic model, where did you find him?

Be careful about flu shots. I got one several years ago while I was already sick. Apparently I had picked up the bug the same day I got the shot. I thought I was gong to die. Afterwards I talked to my doctor and she said that it is actually dangerous to do that, it pits your body fighting two different infections at the same time. The flu shot is manufactured from the virus from last year, and the new flu virus has evolved and mutated since then.

I agree that the Spriggan is more fitting to his theme, but wouldn't an ARM23 jack that is girded, steady, sturdy, with the option to bulldoze be glorious?

Taking what Juris said gave me an idea, what about MOW arc nodes? π
I'm still a bit(lot) salty even after reading Juris' posts. I agree with him on some points, but he's still viewing it from a Cygnar perspective. With infantry becoming fairly necessary in the new steamroller rules and having more terrain effecting the middle of the board, being able to spread out is not always an option. Don't get me wrong, I was actually hoping to draw out Juris and get his thoughts on the matter. I respect his opinions and posts. They are well thought out and have a difference perspective.
As to Khador's lack of arc nodes, I seem to remember quite a few conversations in the PP khador forum about why we would never have arc nodes. One reason was because we had only heavy jacks and the other was because of Sorscha's spell list in MKII. Fluff was not a reason that I recall.

That's what has just blown my mind reading the threads over in the black hole of the Cygnar forum. How the ONLY decent unit they have is Storm Lances and any adjustment to bring them in line with the rest of cavalry in the game would completely destroy the faction. I'd love to have us with the option to take one of the following: Snipe, Telekinesis, Arcane Shield, Journeymen Warcasters, and Gibbs in our faction. But that would be considered broken, while they could have all of that in one list along with Thorn and Hurricane. Hurricane really irritates me because we've been told since forever that we can't have arc nodes because we only have heavy jacks and then PP goes and sticks one on a freaking Colossal!

A question/complaint that has always bothered me, why is Cygnar loaded with lightning and electroleaps when virtually nobody has an immunity? Every other special attack has some counters spread through the different armies. Especially with single wound infantry starting to come back more and more due to the prevalence of theme armies.

I think Kozlov should have an arc node Demolisher. Because if cheaty Haley2 can have a Hurricane, Thorn, a journeyman warcaster (for free), and a squire (for free) in a theme army . . .
