I was actually thinking of trying it with with Malakov as a flanking force. conflictchamber.com/#b31bgy7s7s7s7shFhF8pi6i6Khador Army - 75 / 75 points !!! Your army contains CID entries. I was actually thinking of trying it with with Malakov as a flanking force. Im not really seeing it. Doesn't seem to do anything for him, and he can't provide any support for it at all. Im trying THIS: conflictchamber.com/#b31b_-0f6Z7s7seQ8f8t867Z7S7T7-7Y7Wi6Khador Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Winter Guard Kommand !!! Your army contains a CID entry. (Butcher 1) Orsus Zoktavir, The Butcher of Khardov [+28] - Kodiak [13] - Kodiak [13] - Ruin [17] - War Dog [3] Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich [4] Battle Mechaniks (min) [3] Winter Guard Field Gun Crew [0(4)] Winter Guard Infantry (max) [10] - Winter Guard Infantry Officer & Standard [4] Winter Guard Mortar Crew [0(5)] Winter Guard Rifle Corps (max) [13] - Winter Guard Rocketeer (3) [6] Winter Guard Gun Carriage (CID) [17] Even with Retaliatory strike not being as good as possible, its still very nasty if you can engage the target. It would help support the Butchers Slowness by seriously delaying the enemy. Once your close enough, you can do enough damage in enough ways to murder anything. Outside of that the list can handle a wide variety of stuff. It would need about 3 Heavies to fully defeat. The awesome part is that you can retaliate on any heavy with the most focus, thus meaning that every heavy MUST have full focus when sent against it or be denied the most powerful attacker. Just be sure to engage first.

Looks damn good as is now. Hopefully it survives the CID as is.

HereComesTomorrow: I strongly disagree with about anything you said and your negativity. Back to topic: This thing is good, really good, probably too good so I think it will get nerfed. The question is how it will get nerfed, because the way I see it the abilitys are on point now. So I could see a Point increase or its Mat going to 5 or dropping the Pow by 1 or 2 points. Right now its pretty powerfull. There may be infantry that can stop it but no one wants to hope on you opponent failing his dice. But maybe its okay because when we are expected to play in theme it only appears with WG.

I've probably lost my sense of what's balanced in this game and what isn't at this point, but...
... the idea of a model that just trivially removes all my infantry in a 6" x 11" swath, knocking down things along the sides and at the end of it's path, and can even reposition afterwards? I dunno, that does not sound like something that I want to face.
I mean, imagine: your caster is standing there, behind two warjacks and a bunch of infantry. This thing just strolls up, kills a bunch of the infantry, knocks down both warjacks, then repositions to the side so the enemy army now has line-of-sight. Or just move one up each flank, then sweep inwards and kill a whole bunch of infantry and knock down some heavies. Maybe these tactics are not as powerful as they seem in my head, possibly they are easily avoided by a skilled player, but... well, it all sounds pretty crazy to me. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it gets toned down.

I love how they invented a bunch of unique special rules just to not give it trample. As long as it stays an rng 10, 2xpow 16 gun platform for 17 pts I'm okay with whatever nonsense ends up being on the melee side of things. Also I mean, imagine: your caster is standing there, behind two warjacks and a bunch of infantry. The scenario you are describing is a dream come true because you are more likely to miss an attack on the way and end up with a failed charge if you are too greedy. Don't get me wrong I really like what they've done with the thing, it sounds powerful but I don't think it's as broken as some people pretend, I will need to try it on the table to see if I'm wrong about this.

They kinda had to because any infantry the opponent brings is going to be either pretty damn tough or pretty damn hard to bring to comepete with warjacks.

I mean, imagine: your caster is standing there, behind two warjacks and a bunch of infantry. Within what? Like 2 inches of it? It still has a threat range you know. It can charge 11 inches whilst not bad at all, isn't the death from a glove your imagining. I mean the much more realistic option is your Rifle core just shoots all the infantry and kill the caster with Rockets.

Technically more like 21" if you include the cannons. I mean fair enough but the accuracy on those is pretty low regardless (Even with the Vlads). And that's like 1 Inch extra over the rifle core yet again. So I'm not seeing that overpowerdness. Its an infantry mulcher and an everything else Delayer and costs as much as an expensive warjack. I think its JUST right.

Now here is my question, besides fixing the unlimited impacts caused by the wording, do you guy think it will make it through in its current form?

Now here is my question, besides fixing the unlimited impacts caused by the wording, do you guy think it will make it through in its current form? Im not seeing a problem with how they WANT it. As in you get to impact attack through whatever's in your way. Any less than that and suddenly it's still really easy to stall the big based model. The infinite impact attacks are what make it impressive in my mind. Sans that its just a mild thresher, and thus too easily ignorable. But the wording does need some work otherwise infinite impact attacks can potentially be infinite attacks I think.

So "Hard" is a rule I have to start asking for in Skorne now?
