I was imagining some lists tonight and came up with this one. Grim Salvation targets a plenty and Madrak with lightening fists for infantry spam or fire fist against heavies... if he even needs to hit them with a unit of blood furied Champions rolling 5 dice on a charge.
Thoughts? Could it survive on the way in? Does anything survive the feat if they make it there? Lol
I imagine running the unit of Fennblades without UA in to engage on the second turn and feating turn 3. I play protectorate often and those dang Skirmishers will wipe out a unit by themselves before I can hit home.

The stone doesn't really protect fennblades anyhow, it mostly for beast protection, multiwound unit protection so I think you are okay without it given that your plan is jam with fennblades until they choke on them. And madrak is unkillable until they kill 20+ tough models. You have damage buffs and two ways of killing infantry. I like it, other than not owning two units of fennblades.

Madrak 2 with no stone is probably doable, but why do it if you plan on bringing so many multi wound models? In a list with Fennblades/Kriel Warriors it seems more intuitive. This could perhaps work though. I would consider changing the min champions to min warders instead. They could help protect your beasts from shooting that might otherwise be needlessly effective against them since you have no stone...

I can say from experience that with all the jamming fenblades the champs normally get delivered at mostly full strength and they kill whatever inst already trashed by the fens under blood fury. The min unit for warders would work too, or taker a unit of kriel warriors for more bodies. My dad plays a list similar to this and It gives me headaches (play circle and menoth)

I think I'll have to wait until I get my moving templates in before trying. All these 3" movements would drive me mad! Lol
I might just have to put this on the shelf until Madrak2 is in a steamroller.
