Been tinkering with this recently to pair with the Doom2 standard. It has obnoxious scenario jam, more infantry clear and a surprising amount of armor cracking. I've had ~2/3 of a unit of Fenns take out a TEP under Lucant feat. Madrak is helpful for grievous-ing heavies that you struggle to one round as triage (especially with Snipe to stay further back/ reach further).
I tried champs + skaldi and a bouncer instead of axer initially but I valued the higher speed options with axer and long riders (helps to keep up with the fenns). Still learning the ins and outs of unpacking such a large footprint from your deployment zone and the trickier order of activations issues but I think this list might be the new sleeper list.

The list looks fine. This may be a case where max stone with no elder is preferable, though minimizing it would allow you to get another 4 point option in there.
Do you think this pairs well with Doomy 2? It is way better against infantry yes, but does it handle shooting well enough? I can see cygnar being an issue, with storm lances killing way too many fennblades with e-leaps and stuff.

I saw far less of it at LVO than expected and I don't really see a good reason for its resurgence - especially with CoC and Khador on the rise. Maybe I have a bad read and should return to Ragnor but I want to explore this list in case I'm right. It's WAY harder to pilot than PoD heavy bricks.

To be fair Cygnar doesn't seem to be the issue in North America than it is in Europe.

Why? I use the Champions as a Second Wave, I think it's fine if they cannot keep up with the Fennblades and Longriders. Also, with Blood Fury, they hit super hard. Furthermore, this way, I get 10 free points instead of just 5 :-) Also, I really like the Fennblade Kithkar for +1 Mat for Fennblades, and as a combat solo especially during feat turn. I also thought about a variant where I use Warders instead of Champions (due to them having 2" reach for better feating, and being more sturdy. Also, Warders do not really care about the -Def of Blood Fury as they are armor tanking anyway). They would require the Sorcerer as an attachment to get to 40 points of Heavy Infantry for 2 free solos. Also interesting option... (but it is only 73 points, no idea what to do with the last 2...)
Edit: I was feeling bad that Champions have no 2" reach which would be super helpful during feat turn to do more infantry murdering. However, Skaldi gives them Overtake, which fills a similar purpose and should still allow them to eat enemy infantry units even when they are spaced slightly apart? Edit2: The first edit is of course non-sense as Madraks feat already gives overtake. Not having 2" reach is sad for Champs. (but still ok as they are second wave anyway in my list)

Arcaux - Yeah, I'm not sure what it is but Cygnar seems a lot less popular out here. Not that I mind That said I think doomy MIGHT be playable into Cygnar - they can't really play any electricity themed army into double EBDT and I think as long as Hayley2 is playing Storm Division you could dojo out the matchup and get an edge. That said I could be wrong (the one time I've played it I diced the crap out of my opponent). vortex255 - I used to be playing champions over the long riders but came to the conclusion that the Long Riders are just better for what I want. I also consider the fenns superior to champions. I've not had issues doing damage once I get my buffs in place, and I feel the speed, reach, raw bodies for jam and inherent pathfinder on the turn you need it most is MUCH more valuable. In my opinion, abusing an army-wide high speed to set the line of scrimmage between your opponent and the zones is a big appeal of the list as I've made it.

After some tinkering I've come to the conclusion that this list is one of the rare scenarios where the Krielstone ISN'T worth it and as such have replaced it with another chronicler and another fel caller. Needs more dojoing but I'm happy with the list. The raw power is there, and every time I lose or just barely win on luck I can easily tell how better play would have eliminated that.

What role does the axer preform in the list? It seems very out of place to me, especially with no stone i think i would go for a bouncer instead, or why not an impaler for even more shooting? Sure, you will frenzy all the time, but he is just as good at triggering Charge of the Trolls, and nother boosted shot could be very good.

Rushing the Bomber gives it a bit of extra threat which is always helpful, rushing the axer with Madrak then running it to set off charge of the trolls gives it a bit of extra value. The thresher is nice too. In general I've just always been a big fan of the axer.
I've postulated a triple bouncer battlegroup which would free up 2 points, which would allow me to swap a fel caller for 2x kithcar. But I've been enjoying bomber -> grievous wounds axe.

After the nerf people wrote him off then the themes came out and I said that something like this could still be very strong. I'm glad it's working out.
