Heightened metabolism specifies that it can only be used by beats so Mak3 cant use it. Without a beast with magic weapons Im not sure how much use it is going to be into ghost fleet.

Metabolism also specifies target warbeast so makeda or the hound/soldier can apply it to say molik before he rampages on feat turn. We also have a 3 point solo that hands out magic weapons. A hound and a extoller is seven points and gives you an out to cloud walls and recursion lists like ghost fleet and high Reclaimer. Snacking also stops tough so you don't need to juggle her upkeep around if you run into tough spam like irusk or trolls. I'd say that's a pretty good use of 7 points but I haven't had a chance to test it into this matchups yet.

we have much better things against ghostfleet to begin with. Just a minimum group of incindiarii or slingers would do the job if you don't let it get out of hand. Without girded or some way to dig in, both can auto-kill, even if slingers have it a little more tough against undead.

Incindiarii are a lot of points to sink into something that'll get trivially blown off the table after killing a couple of models that'll only come back at some point anyway, and Slingers struggle to even hit the target. They need an 8 to hit, and none of their ammo types do anything that the POW10 itself doesn't do. Skorne in general doesn't really have the casual RFP needed to deal with Ghost Fleet. I've only beaten it with assassinations from Rasheth and Mordikaar, both of which my opponent could've prevented. Makeda3 is awful into it. Denny1 excels at murdering a single valuable target, which is exactly what this list is. Not even Orin will save you.

incindiarii and slingers don't require a hit to kill them x.O; you put them on fire or corrode them. since they are AoEs, even if you don't hit they deviate and still do auto fire or auto corrode x.O; lots of infantry? lots of deviation directions

slingers don't require a hit to kill them x.O; you put them on fire or corrode them. since they are AoEs Slingers shots are not aoes on a direct hit you center a 3" aoe on the target hit. Models under the aoe get corroded note these models do not get hit by blast damage they only get corroded

and note that I said it's a bit more difficult for slingers x.O; you should quote the entire thing -_-

I was just trying to clarify that slingers do not have aoe attacks. I have not played against ghost fleet so I have no idea on the matchup

it's a little more difficult to simply cover a large area with death, but they ARE cheaper than the incindiarii and automatically deal 1 damage with the corrosion, making them ideal for clearing ample amounts of clogged up single boxed infantry.

I was just trying to clarify that slingers do not have aoe attacks. I have not played against ghost fleet so I have no idea on the matchup I have recently. If I may recommend a resource on the matter: museonminis.com/fully-boosted-episode-42-ghost-fleet/In this podcast Tim Banky (of SOO fame) comments on how the list works and how to beat it. For us it seems the best solutions are Hexeris2, Zaal2 or Rasheth. Hexy2 can RfP the unit leaders rather well. Zaal2 can apparently attrition against it (I have my doubts, but if he says so I am inclined to believe it). And Rasheth with 22 Reivers and some more stuff (Slingers?) can attrition it out while threatening Denny and being somewhat safe from her assassination. This is however all based on the knowledge leeched from other people and I am very intent on trying out the former and latter once I get those damn Venators painted. What I can say definitely doesn't work is Mak2, all her stuff just dies.

As for Zaal2 into Ghost Fleet, I'm assuming the combo of his RFP nuke, ability to delay her assassination with his own feat and Mage Sight make him personally decent. The fact that he takes magic weapon infantry with vengeance helps too.
