I think the point is that Saeryn can handle one thing and Rhyas can handle another that's NOT 12" away (like a flag or rectangle zone). In every scenario there are positions where both twins can score on different objects and still be within cmd. Lanz Apparently caster units get a pass on that (they said it'll be clarified in the next update).

The twins list, seen earlier in this thread, that I played last night did really well into PitII and had it not been for my own mistakes throughout the game I would have taken the win easily.....I loathe playing into Harbinger and I hate punch monks....Harbinger makes me cagey and punch monks just need to die.

They can double score on every scenario because warlocks can score any of the scenario elements and every one has at least 2 thing within 8-10" of each other. Don't the new unit scoring rules necessitate that the whole unit is on one objective? They don't control as a unit. They control individually as warlocks.

They cannot in Recon because of this rule on page 10: "If a warcaster/warlock model B2B with a flag is a member of a warcaster/warlock unit, to control the flag all models in the unit must also be within 4˝ of the flag."

(...) So after playtesting with the Typhon, Azrael, Proteus, Carnivean 2x Hellmouth build I was finding that I still felt the loss of sweet, sweet free points generated by playing in theme. So I decided to see what I could come up with in Oracles. (...) Any chance on some write up after test? I was playing Thags for a long time and after Oracles dropped i switched to this: Legion Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Oracles of Annihilation (Thagrosh 1) Thagrosh, Prophet of Everblight [+28] - Carnivean [19] - Carnivean [19] - Naga Nightlurker [8] - Seraph [14] - Typhon [24] Blighted Nyss Shepherd [1] Blighted Nyss Shepherd [1] Spell Martyr [1] Spell Martyr [1] The Forsaken [0(4)] The Forsaken [0(4)] Blighted Nyss Hex Hunters (max) [15] - Bayal, Hound of Everblight [0(6)] I really like Hex hunters in this list. I would like to add BFS but didn't found nice way to put them in and I don't have model yet. Another thing to decide is 3 vs 4 combat heavies choice. Currently I'm playing mostly Fyanna2/Vayl2 as a break from constantly playing Thags and I like but SR2017 can give Thagrosh another spin. Question is how Throne would look after CID. Tanky BE could find nice spot in Thagrosh brick

True. Nice catch.

So I decided to see what I could come up with in Oracles. (...) Any chance on some write up after test? Yeah I can definitely do a write up after testing. Thing is I'm putting SR2017 on hold because I have a con in less than two weeks and I want to spend practice time on SR2016 scenarios until after that's over. For what it's worth though I like your version of Thags1. It's less skewy in exchange for being more balanced and having more tools. I like that you have a Naga and can see the benefits of a Seraph. There was an Aussie player who took 2nd place in the Cancon masters with a similar list to yours. For reference it was: Thagrosh1 - Typhon - Proteus - Carnivean - Seraph 2x Hellmouth 2x Deathstalker Forsaken 2x Shepherd Spell Martyr Of course this was pre-Oracles so the list had its differences but the general goal is the same. Hex Hunters perform a roughly similar role as Hellmouths in the sense that they jam and interfere and the Naga takes up the points that went into Deathstalkers.

Sadly spells aren't weapons and won't gain the benefit from Fuel Cache.
