So I bought the sea king on a whim because I think the model is awesome, does anyone have a suggested list to run him, I'd like to make a 75pt to play him and I dont know much about trolls since I'm usually playing my swans.

That four huge list looks great, I might proxy to try it out and commit if I like it. But I can tell that I'm gonna like it.

I would probably run him with Doomy2: Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] The Power of Dhunia [Doomshaper 2] Hoarluk Doomshaper, Rage of Dhunia [+27] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Sea King [36] - Troll Axer [10] - Troll Basher [7] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Janissa Stonetide [0(4)] Troll Whelps [0(4)] Farrow Valkyries [8] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Stone Scribe Elder [3] The gun is meh and the animus is weird, so I can't see any use for him except the added threat he natively has - which Doomy2 perhaps can abuse. Alternatively go with Ragnor1, skip the ladies and hope his feat can deliver the sea king to enough heavies to win attrition. Or Horgle2 with similar game plan, if your opponent has no upkeep removal. All share the same idea; Deliver sea king to take out 2 or 3 heavies, hope he doesn't die in retaliation

Calandra likes the sea king's animus to make a def 16 earthborn that can dodge under star crossed.

Ahh yes, the infamous Calandra jank list. Why not expand upon that with the new Madrak1 if you really want to abuse it?
Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] The Power of Dhunia
[Madrak 1] Madrak Ironhide, Thornwood Chieftain [+29] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Sea King [36] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Troll Whelps [0(4)] Troll Whelps [0(4)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Stone Scribe Elder [3]
Quite the brick to punch through !

I would put a Mauler in there, but that looks like fun!

Calandra - Runebearer - Sea King - Earthborn - Earthborn - Mauler - Axer Max stone + SE Whelps Whelps Gobber Chef
Only ended up dropping it once against Barnabus2 and it did fine, but it's definitely more of a for fun list than a serious list.
What I like about the Madrak list is access to Jackhammer. With auto knock down on hit you can put guided hand on the sea King with the Runebearer, run it 12 inches with rush and then buy 5 attacks with jack hammer on a target 4 inches away, the first one being boosted to hit and auto knock downing. It's a pretty legit assassination considering that's 5 attacks at Pow 21 from 16 inches away.

The range 4 in the models activation only. otherwise it is 2. In your case the range would be 2

Can't believe that anchor isn't straight knock down, that was one of the only reason I'd ever considered it. I mean the Glacier king has straight stationary on his melees.

4" reach and auto knock down would totally make me play Doomy 1 with it

Yup agreed, it's the worst (Troll) gargantuan by far imo. I really like seaking and I really like other king's as well. And I think they are quite good place balance vice as all of them have their use and they are as tie as 3 models can be keeping them still different. Seakings gun is really good and animus is situational, but really powerfull. (only problem is our lack of arc node) Biggest problem of all the kings is that our cheapest beast is 7p so you have to pay nearly 15p from list outside PoD and fury is really problem on PoD lists as whelps are not reliable fury management in small model count lists and knot is not free.
