How about you buy one of our thousand pound titans? They are pretty bad ass. I want one just to build and paint it honestly.

I just wish they would have designed the model to be like a real chariot so when the chariot is destroyed the MoW hops off and is a solo. They could have even have the three different weapon sets so when you hop off you can deside if its a shock Trooper, Demo Korp or Bombardier. They still are ok models Could he hop onto one of the horses and become a Drakhun?

Well the Siege Chariot can't smoke itself to block LOS, being a huge base. However the smoke clouds it places down are perfect for protecting, say, a Suppression Tanker who's just laid down some covering fires or minced some Trenchers. Between the Range 10 Gun, the Smite on Hit to push the heavy it's shooting away and the repo 3, it's much more survivable and dangerous than people are giving it credit for. Plus it's one of the most fun models to actually play: that gun basically shoots Memes and Dreams. I'm pretty sure between all the tools at its disposal and maybe some help from Aiyana & Holt, you can create a Man of War list as a Cryx & Trencher drop, with game into everything else 2X3"=6" > 5.5"

Insaw some people complaining about BAHI in relation to the chariots. Then a couple hours later I saw the price of the space Marine mamoth forge world put out. I'm pretty happy I play Warmachine. Yeah, but then you look at the AT-ST for star wars: legion... 50 bux, assembled in about 10 minutes, no mold lines/knife work required... And the head snaps into the legs so you don't even have to glue it.

I saw the rest of the line looks to be bare plastic, but I don't know about the AT-ST or speeder.

I think the point is that clouds (and forests) don’t block LoS to 120 mm bases. Only other 120 mm bases could block LoS.

I saw the rest of the line looks to be bare plastic, but I don't know about the AT-ST or speeder. They're all unpainted grey plastic. Assembly being hella easy is the main draw: they've done a lot of the assembly before they even pack and ship it. For reference, the airspeeder comes to you and all you have to do is plug the guns in, pop it in the base, and there's a few options for gluing on flaps (which you can also just leave off)

Yeah but the SW Legion models are all fixed pose, so while easy to assemble your army is going to look 'boring' as soon as you start getting multiples of things.

auraco I mostly tested against Sorscha 3 in CiD, and while she does not run the chariots very well they are fairly self sufficient and buy her time to get the army in position. This is basically what I played against in CiD: conflictchamber.com/#c3201b_-10k_kZkZkZ8fl5l5l27Ol17QgdjJjJKhador Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Armored Corps (CID) (Sorscha 3) Kommandant Sorscha Kratikoff [+28] - Rager [10] - Rager [10] - Rager [10] - War Dog [3] Man-O-War Kovnik [0(4)] Man-O-War Kovnik [0(4)] Kommandant Atanas Arconovich & Standard [7] Man-O-War Demolition Corps (max) [15] - Sergeant Dragos Dragadovich [0(6)] Man-O-War Shocktroopers (max) [16] - Man-O-War Shocktrooper Officer [4] Man-O-War Assault Chariot [14] Man-O-War Assault Chariot [14] Basically the list trudges very slowly up-field, but is durable on the approach and demo core almost can guarantee and alpha with the feat and Minifeat. The list cracks arm really well (demo core with shatter and flanking Ragers to support the shockies. The chariots basically clear chaff/jamming infantry and buy time for the army to actually get there. At 14 points a pop they are decent contesting/jamming pieces that can get work done on opposing infantry screens before jamming your opponent and dying. I really think they are mostly there in theme to add a fast contesting element to the theme lists. You wont need them in every list, but they provide value by stalling for the rest of the army to head in and beat face. arm 19 with 28 boxes is also not super easy to remove in one go. You typically need a heavy with a buff (or fully loaded with focus) to remove one so they are pretty good at stalling things when committed and don't die to horribly from shooting on the approach as long as you keep them on the flanks. In all the games they ran way out on the flanks forced me to deal with them before hitting the rest of the army. Worked fairly well. I likely will give them a shot. AK will/must have some speed to start contesting/putting pressure on early and SP 7 (plus buffs) will help that.

Honestly the list isn't slow any way. Advance Move + Desperate Pace means you're walking 10" or running 14" on turn 1, which is as far up as a SPD 7 model would be. You can have a unit of STs in the zone on the top of turn 1, that is pretty significant pressure...
