Hmm, I dunno, would have hoped for something more imaginative, now it just looks like a regular chariot with loads of armour and heavy as shoit. Drive on one bump and you shoot your own horses heads clean off...

I can't see the justification for them being BAHI, they are neither large, centrepiece or impressive. In terms of size they are actually smaller than most current battle engines, it just reeks of a desperate cash grab! From the latest Chain Attack episode (Jay is a retailer): With >1000 SKUs stores aren’t carrying a huge chunk of the product line, The customer—retailer—distributor network leads to a fair amount of “special ordering”. PP’s plan is to take about half their SKUs long term and place them online. Retailers will still be able to work directly with PP with lower thresholds for free shipping than they get now with distributors if they want to stock the items for sale via PP. It’s a bit unclear what models will be “EXCLUSIVE!” To the PP website vs. having a retailer option to represent PP. Yes, we lose out on the 30% off you can commonly get online. I know my local retailer doesn’t do those discounts. The price of this particular model seems OK and meets the current free shipping threshold.

Did they mention how that would impact countries outside the US?

After the exchange rate and tax it's still like 120 canada bux. If it hit a store shelf I'd end up paying about 95. BAHI sucks!

My problem is that I have a cool conversion idea which requires $125 worth of other models for parts, so it’s $210 each for me

I don't get the complaints about it being dull or unimaginative. It's exactly what I would expect from the Khador fluff. Couple horses, lots of armor, big gun. We are the faction of axe to face, and pikemen in full plate after all.
Edit: I guess what some people see as dull and unimaginative I see as plain and straightforward. Which has always been Khadors design esthetic.

Which has always been Khadors design esthetic. I think my problems are: 1 - No sense of movement. It's a chariot, but looks more like a piece of horse-drawn artillery; 2 - horses appear to be marching in lock-step. This doesn't help with the sense of movement and actually looks quite odd; 3 - Apart from the Man of War on the back, there's nothing peculiarly Khadoran or even really IK about it. You could take off the MoW and a single anvil, add a different crew model and it could be the Trencher chariot. Similarly for some other factions. From the pictures, there's also not much peculiarly IK about it. No real steampunkiness (this is now a word. It is), or the fairly widespread pieces of metal with holes in that often appear on smoke-stacks, various parts of jacks and so on. Probably too few rivets too - compare to the WG Gun Carriage in that regard.

Probably too few rivets too - compare to the WG Gun Carriage in that regard. To address in order; 1. You seem to be misunderstanding what a charriot is. It's a two wheel platform a driver stands on that is drawn by horses. Nothing about being a charriot means it needs to be fast. This charriot litterally is horse drawn artillery. Your complaint seems to be that you don't like that it looks like what it is, and wished it looked like what you think the name implies. 2. Horses in real life usually move in lockstep when set up like this. It would be less realistic if they weren't. 3. Sounds like you are saying that if you take the elements that make it look steampunk and Khadoran off it doesn't look steampunk or Khadoran. I agree, but so does basically everything in Khador.

OK. SOME Cards are out but by no means are all the changes in (Beast still at 21, Juggers at 12, etc.)
Seige - Cav model. Sp7; 28 boxes Mount Pow 15. Gun Rng 10 Pow 20. MAT 7, RAT 6; 15 points
Not sure if he had this in the CID but Dual attack and linebreaker. Smite (D6 inch slam). Knockdown on horse so tough rolls mitigated So we are looking at, before speed buffs a 20 inch threat of slamming thing. A VERY significant threat if you can follow up the slam with shots on a caster - though Collatoral POW 20 will hurt as well
(Immediate rule question - would collotoral benefit From Butcher1's Feat?). Not sure about his role in a build but I could see it.
Assault. PC 14. Same MAT and RAT as above. Barrage Gun d3+1 at AOE 4 with POW 12s. High explosives. Trampling hooves and linebreaker. That is some scary stuff under Butcher 1 in particular.
Dragos
No changes I can see from the CID. Defensive Line, Vengeance, Band of Brothers, Shatter on Maul (so likely for the DemoCorp)

To the people complaining about their rules, the assault chariot is actually really good at mulching infantry. They also add speed and scenario relevance to a very very slow theme.
