Just realized that V1 + all the shooty stuff will be quite strong list. Built-in cloudwall, ranged grievous (!), every mow with a gun gun is basically a rocket, except you don't buy 6-8pt of wg chaff for it.

I'm assuming the front arc of the tankers are ARM 19 or 21 due to the shields.

Tankers have exceptionally good guns, but I'm sceptical about keeping them alive. 6 pt for arm17 10 boxes, light jacks have more and they are better at shooting usually They're both carrying 2 shields, so they're ARM 21 Missed that. That's strong. All the new models are pushed so hard it's not funny. Just take 4x tankers, 2x chariot and you'll be steamrolling people.

smoothcriminal - most light jacks aren't 6 points (or free). Also, what light jacks have a P+S 16, Rat 6, boosted to hit Spray 10? Also, Rager spam is about a million times more manageable than Marauder spam. I think Mad Dog spam needs to be tested, just to avoid any possible repetition of Mad Dogs of War 3.0, but I'm not overly frightened of these changes.

Also, Rager spam is about a million times more manageable than Marauder spam. Pretty sure Berserker spam isn't. They are actually MORE powerful now than before the nerf. Also I feel like now the Maurader is now the dumpster jack after these nerfs.

So... malakov's feat works on the battle engines now for out of turn advances and they can get retaliatory knockdown attacks from atanas

I will Say I like Sorcha 3. Im disappointed by her gun though. For how much focus her design puts on it its just a ranged bombard.

Thanks for posting. I am surprisingly excited about some of this. The tankers and chariots both look great. The character unit is great. And the CAs aren't bad per se. I could see taking a min unit of either bombers or demo. Just to give tactical flexibility. Sorcha is cool. Surprised to see Malakov. The change to him is nice though. Giving parry to some of our hard hitting infantry or cav might be a thing.

First quick impressions (will need to read it more thoroughly later): Price hike on Juggernaut and Marauder: Boo! Hiss! But understandable I guess. Rager sounds useable now. Berserker & Mad Dog might have a place again now that Marauder is pricier. I'd still take a Destroyer over a Decimator every time: Decimator needs to be P+S 18 already! Spriggan is cheaper: OK, good for shooty lists I guess, though I still would have liked it to be MAT 7. Beast 09 price seems fair now. MOW Kovnik still has the same useless drive? Maybe a bit better now since Decimator & Rager are a bit better?

I agree that from power point of view it doesn't seem outstanding. The price up on main damage dealer aka Juggy compensates for price down on Berserker chassis. The problem is with how it was done. People bought into Berserker kits only to have them nerfed, we went to Marauder kit for a year, now those are nerfed and Berserkers are back to spam jack of choice. I usually don't like this comparison, but this is exactly what GW does and why we all hate them.

Also, I think people really should not fall into the trap of "Free points so its price is irrelevant!"
The Demo Core attachment is 6 bloody points. For a Unit of 21. Your only gonna get a limited amount of free attachments and eventually your gonna feel the weight of these immensely overpriced models.
The Standard Bearer is disappointing partly for this reason.
