Just voted. I really like Krueger2 in Bones. He loves the Fulcrum and the Wardens. Unless your opponent can't pushed, it has a really strong scenario play. On the other hand, having Baldur1 supporting infantry in Devourer's Host is nice : solid ground shines with Bloodtrackers and Ravagers and all of them love Stone skin. Wild growth is the icing on the cake for the Ravagers : on feat turn, with cover and treewalker + no knockdown, they are a pain to get rid of. concealment and cover don't stack and ravagers won't get the cover bonus in melee since there is no obstacle between them and the enemy model. But def 15 in melee and def 17 at range is awesome for sure I was kind of hoping to run him in devourers host but it looks like People are voting for Call of the wild which surprises me. POLLING WILL CLOSE BY NOON TODAY CAST YOUR VOTES!

Devourers host ist kind of rough withuot ravengers though. That's fair. I am honestly surprised people were not more into trying to get me to play double blood pack honestly. I am interested to see the Call of the wild lists people come up with

But def 15 in melee and def 17 at range is awesome for sure Oh sure, I meant to say that you're both protected from ranged and melee threats. However, it seems you'll go for Call of the Wild. Not sure what game Baldur1 has within this theme... Sure, feat turn is good for the wolves to limit retaliation but he lacks support for the warbeasts (-1 def and -1spd is really sad for our warpwolves ) I'd rather have Baldur2 with Wolves + Megalith. Roots of the Earth rocks with Stalkers / Ferals / Purebloods !

I think the eKrueger list mostly builds itself, just some possible variation within the battlegroup
eKrueger -Megalith -Woldwarden -Woldwarden -Woldwyrd -Woldwyrd
Celestial Fulcrum
Stoneshaper Stoneshaper Wayfarer Wayfarer
Sentry Stone Sentry Stone Shifting Stones Gobber Chef
Within Call I think there's a lot more possibilities when building the battlegroup. Making the most of his feat and Solid Ground means going for Warpwolves IMO but you still probably don't want to miss out on Megalith (Solid as always but with access to 2 STR buffs he hits harder than any Warpwolf in the list if you need Blessed Weapons and of course benefits from a free charge always while Wolves don't necessarily get that benefit). With only 6 Fury, managing the Fury output of all the heavies can be a problem so I consider the Wilder to be mandatory. She also helps to fix control area issues Baldur may have. The LotF is simply a throw back to my MK2 days where I used him pretty regularly. While he's nowhere near as good as he used to be he brings a little extra infantry clearing and the ability to get to support that the list may otherwise lack. Since he doesn't usually charge and has a decent armour value (by Circle Standards) maybe Stone Skin on him is worthwhile on him early game.
Baldur1 -Wilder (free) -Megalith -Feral Warpwolf -Warpwolf Stalker -Warpwolf Stalker -Pureblood Warpwolf -Gorax Rager
Wayfarer (free) Wayfarer (free) Stoneshaper LotF (free)
Shifting Stones

newangel Hmmm I like that Baaldur 1 list. Lots of high def and solid threat output. I would have gone with another pureblood over the feral though because I already have the gorax for primal and I have a thing for purebloods lol, I think the LoTF is going to be interesting. I only used him a couple times in Mk3 and found him to be...lackluster. But for free he is a durable and decent contesting piece/solo hunter.

Oh don't get me wrong, I really dislike the LotF. Even at the cost of 0pts I always look for other options that may be more worthwhile even though technically at 6 extra free points he *should* be better. But I haven't tried him with Baldur yet and extra ARM and STR is probably the best he can get now he can no longer benefit from Sprint.

for the baldur call of the wild list... what about a couple of razorwings? they can get a good damage buff with primal and maybe, if required, stone skin... or use amuck on a great buffed feral... instead of the LotF it could also be great a stoneshaper to boost the megalith

But I would honestly even say a second unit of stones would be great for fury management on my 6 fury caster. I think scarsfells are better because dodge and no knockdown is excellent.

Haha sorry for the wild hunt list, I got the wrong idea. Talking about lights to include, the only reasons to include Scarsfells is to hunt solos and contest, due to the lack of battlegroup buffs. I would include at least one Argus, just for the remote possibility of telebark assassination.
I think you can follow the same guidelines on creating a CotW list with Kromac1. Both casters are not suitable to work with large battlegroups. Getho, Stalkers are heavies that can work without the aid of a caster.

Baldur 1 can actually deliver that army and 2 stalkers can clear jamming infantry very handily Luckily I just grabbed one of those nifty 10 dollar mark 2 boxes. So I now have 4 argiand an extra warp wolf chassis

The Kreuger list is obvious and I think we'll that guy being called "solved" in bones pretty soon based on it. For Baldur I would look to leverage steady blast immune scarsfels to bait bad trades out of the opponent and capitalize with cheap heavies that do very well under SS+primal. conflictchamber.com/#c8201b_-0W4m4O4QcIcI5H5H5H4K5Ag45g5g5fCircle Army - 74 / 75 points [Theme] Call of the Wild (Baldur 1) Baldur the Stonecleaver [+31] - Feral Warpwolf [18] - Megalith [20] - Rip Horn Satyr [14] - Rip Horn Satyr [14] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Shadowhorn Satyr [12] - Druid Wilder [0(4)] Blackclad Stoneshaper [0(3)] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Shifting Stones [3] Version 2 (no megs) conflictchamber.com/#c8201b_-0W4m4OcIcI5H5H5H4K5l5A5g5gc95h5fCircle Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Call of the Wild (Baldur 1) Baldur the Stonecleaver [+31] - Feral Warpwolf [18] - Rip Horn Satyr [14] - Rip Horn Satyr [14] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Shadowhorn Satyr [12] - Warpwolf Stalker [19] - Druid Wilder [0(4)] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Gallows Grove [2] Lord of the Feast [0(6)] Shifting Stones [3]
