Disgusting as in bad idea and didn't work the way I wanted it to.
Not as in game breakingly awesome.
Sorry for the confusion.. lol.

All good.
I've considered giving double fenns single champs a whirl with him but I worry that even with 12" control he can't cover the entire silhouette of the force.

If the enemy doesn't have debuffs, I often intentionally let a fennblade or two run out of control to try to bait the vengeance, since most of my opponents have gotten annoyingly smart about not taking potshots at fennblades.

That's fair. Maybe I'll give it a whirl.
I played my current iteration into Krueger wold gunline last night and hoo boy that matchup is obnoxious. Rebuke in general is no bueno, and removing upkeep hate seems to have been a mistake. I still was able to win by charge + jackhammering two of his woldwardens and a set of bears polished off his fulcrum. After failing to clear a lane for a low odds assassination he surrenders.
I think a Northkin Shaman will be replaced by Eilish, unless I feel comfortable dropping Kolgrima into every rebuke pair.

Pet peeve of mine... If the odds are low, doesnt that mean something is very likely to happen? (or at least that the bookmaker thinks it is likely to happen)

Both in general and the wold gun lines in particular.

I played into barny 2 last night, and rebuke wasn’t too much of an issue. I had four units of infantry, so when he rebuked one I just sent in the other three and held the rebuked unit in reserve.

However, my version is double bomber and I didn't want to play that into Kruger2 for obvious reasons.

So, it puts 20 points out of commission in the games where you face rebuke. Do you face rebuke in 25% of your games? Otherwise it may not be worth spending 5 points in every game to "gain" 20 points in some games. I know this is a gross simplification and you cant really think like that , but if the reasoning is "in some games i really need this piece", then one can convince one self to carry around a LOT of support. Lynus & Edrea will really help against cloud walls, but in many games they will not be worth their 5 points. Should every list have L&E just because sometimes you will really want them? Just being philosophical over here...

I haven't seen any double bomber variants yet and you've piqued my interest.

I'm in bed and too lazy to open war room atm but something along the lines of this: Kolgrima -Runebearer -Mulg -Bomber -Bomber -Mauler -Axer Max Stone + Northkin Elder Dhunian Knot Janyssa Whelps

Also they’re not out of the game, in mine they still walked into combat and got stuff done. The rebuked unit becomes your second or third wave.

Eh, if they can't charge I don't really love champs. I think losing one shaman spray in return for Eilish and puppet master / debuff removal is a sufficiently superior option.

Has anyone tried Wrong Eye and Snapjaw yet, Star crossed from Wrong Eye sitting behind Champs seems a fairly interesting option and Snapjaw is never a bad heavy even if Madrak doesn't really do anything for him.
