I'm Firetrucking disappointed if this is what CID has come to.

I made a comment about them being out of touch with ghost fleet and pagani got kind of salty with me. If the revenants were the issue you would see more builds outside of denny1....

Pagani's response to you seemed pretty reasonable to me; calling them out of touch is playing with fire and he gave as mild a pushback as possible...

Wouldn't just taking ghost shot from the WA solve a lot of the assassination potential and strenght of the WAs? Or was the issue the recursion and attacks of normal pirates?
I was surprised they hit the regular pirates attriction and not the WAs...

If the revenants were the issue you would see more builds outside of denny1.... Their job is to reduce Fleet's power level, not make everyone happy by validating their opinion. Unit that has built-in free recursion obviously has to have worse stats than a normal unit. All the Cryx players I know refuse to test it. They know Skarre3 is broken and the Denny1 nerf isn't enough so don't want to give any feedback. They did the same thing when testing Dark Host. Hence why it's tearing up the game. I was waiting for people to say "eff you PP, do your job yourself". We didn't last a year.

Overall, I think PP has made many very good decisions with the second round of the CID, and I had questioned several of the decisions in the CID first week. Process working as it should.

They gave Khary gunfighter! They really aren't completely brain dead. Though they did release him without it... so...
I really can't comment. So much stuff has gone so far around the bend I don't even know how to gauge it. I've yet to find the time to test any of the CID stuff so far and I was going bonkers over the Gator cid. So even with the Cryx stuff I have I don't have any previous experience with GF. So I don't have a basis to go off of. I've never played the Satyxis either.
I feel this is a crucial CID to get right. But ffs where do I begin o.0?

This week it feels they are aware of the current state of the game and want it fixed.

I think it would be quite revealing to run a comparison between "amount of bleating and kvetching about CID" vs "playtest games they actually submitted" for many people.

I think it also might serve as a lesson for how panicky people (myself included) get about the first week of CID.

I think it would be quite revealing to run a comparison between "amount of bleating and kvetching about CID" vs "playtest games they actually submitted" for many people. I think this is something PP developers have really taken in their stride quite well. There's nothing like working on something, committing time and effort, submitting it as a draft just to have someone who you don't know tear it apart online when you were looking for constructive criticism. Especially in the first week of development. It's really quite infuriating (as a bystander) to watch people tear into models in the first week of CID. Sorry, this model isn't how you like it? Test it, send feedback, wait. Don't rip into the developer, the company because your valuable insight hasn't magically appeared on document version 1 of the CID. Right. Rant over. RIP my inbox.

New profile pic get. Take Spriggy discussion elsewhere. i hope all this information is also going up on the CID forums... I think the meme would give the devs a good laugh... Oh. They know.

Hmm. Can of worms much? Now the whole CID is suddenly only about Denny and GF. (Both of which were not initially planned, I think. Not sure though.) I might be wrong, but this is the feeling I get reading CID forums atm. On the other hand, it's kinda good they included those, because many people think so-called outliers have to be fixed. Don't think it will change much though.. soon there'll be another outlier. I don't think they have done enough competitive analysis to overall realize the effect of DennyGF dropping from the meta. It opens up a ton of possibilities for quite a few factions, and there is almost guaranteed to exist another oppressor, kept out of meta mostly by Cryx. On the other hand, few people feel Cryx won't suffer much without DennyGF. Just random thoughts, don't take these too seriously
