A particular warlock? The new Champs? Long Riders? Do you have any lists built? Played a game already? Any thoughts in general so far?

Quick answer - EVERYTHING! Borka2, Grim1, Calandra, Madrak1+2 and so on.. But I will stick to the plan - this month I am going to try Grissel2 (assasination lista) and some kind of Calandra (hit me if you can list). Then prob. Madrak1 and Borka2/Grim1

I have my 5 game challenge still, but that list got 2 free points and access to Mulg and minions, so i am tweaking it a bit. Afterwards... Im not sure. There are SOOO many things, and that does not even take the new NK stuff in to account. It is basically like we have a completely new faction to play with if you count the new themes, minions and the CID changes. Just amazing tbh. I so wish i could play more. MUCH more

Id probably switch the NK shaman for swamp gobbers (to score) and Feralgeist (also to score and contest), but it looks pretty strong

Played the following Madrak3 list under BoH at the UK Nationals and it felt quite good even then, winning in 3 out of 4 games.
Madrak 3 (+29) Dire Troll Bomber 19 Dire Troll Bomber 19 Fennblades (max) + Sorcerer + UA 15 + 3 + 0 Long Riders (max) 20 Long Riders (max) 20 Horthol 8 Fell Caller 0
Played an updated version last night which felt very strong.
Madrak 3 (+29) Mountain King 36 Fennblades (max) + UA 15 + 5 Long Riders (max) 20 Long Riders (max) 20 Horthol 8 Fell Caller 0 Fell Caller 0 Skinner 0
Basically works as a meat mountain, asking can you deal with 10 (+ Horthol) blessed super tough Long Riders who ignore your tough and remove from play. Wait can you do that and still have enough left to deal with a tanky caster and a Mountain King.
Seems very powerful after one game where it won easily against Legion but I will test some more. Obviously the free Skinner could be any solo but ambush is really good in the new scenarios.

I played a Calandra list in SotN with my old Grissel2 BoH list. I didn't find anything there that I was impressed by. I was hoping the extended range would make her more useful as a non-beast caster but I'm not seeing it (yet). We'll see. I also played into a Khador list that didn't actually want to engage until it made the assassination run.

Mulg in a variety of lists, specifically Ragnor, pGrim and Doomy3. Champs with pMadrak once I get it all bought and built.

Been thinking about running Jarl with some champs and long riders which I might actually do now that they both seem substantially better.
Mostly the changes just made lists I already had better or freed up some points

My first list is going to be Jarl in Storm of the North. I have always felt like he never has nearly enough fury to do any of the things he wanted before, especially when running the stone. Now, with free upkeeps on Northkin models and the new "Awaken the Stone" rule, it really feels like he can finally do all the stuff he wanted as well as run the stone. Jarl is his most fun when you are throwing down 2 magic bullets a turn clearing out chaff and support pieces. I can't wait to try it out tonight
