With the above list, I'm not sure if I want to drop a griffon so i can take another unit of sentry stones + either bellows crew or 2 chefs.

Hit buff alone isn't enough... Yeah our beasts seem to all be designed with primal in mind all the time. But the devs don’t seem to understand how horrible primal is when you lose a 19 point wolf for a turn. It’s great on lights. But our heavies suffer because of it. Kromac really needs some sort of damage buff. He is the herald of the Wurm for crying out loud can’t he make things hit harder every turn? What about an ability like Eye of menoth on Sevy1? Living Models in this Models control gain +1 to attack and damage rolls? Then he becomes a really solid combined arms caster? *sigh* wishlisting..... With the above list, I'm not sure if I want to drop a griffon so i can take another unit of sentry stones + either bellows crew or 2 chefs. Do you really need the bellows crew? You have Fog of War which does pretty much the same thing. The extra unit of stones would be nice though for Fury management. You could do stones and the UA so the unit gets prowl which triggers off of Fog of War!

The point at which kaya switches from fog to synergy + feat is the bit i worry about most. Losing the ability to teleport a model hurts.

rezfon I understand that. But the gobbers are gonna be slower than the rest of your army and that could get clunky trying to position to benefit from them the turn you flip to synergy.

Definitely, with only a 12" control range, I've already felt myself get into a couple positioning annoyances when terrain/objectives are also involved. Will follow your advice on that.
