Huh. My most-frequently played list all throughout Mark III has been a Kaya2 list, with all the beasts, a couple of Shifting Stones, A Wayfarer and a Wilder. I think I can literally just tick the theme box and then figure out how many points I saved.
Speaking of, If you take Shifting Stones as a free unit, can you still add a Stone Keeper? Is he free?

Good point... Is there precedent for free units in themes? I'd say no since the Shifting Stones unit is the 3 stones without the UA but it would be cool and perk up the free point count a bit... Not to mention a couple of Rock Hammers

That's my guess too, but you can't blame me for checking... I actually kind of like the Keeper, so I might even pay for him, if I'm getting the base unit for free.
I'm looking at my Kaya2 list, and wishing I could manage to squeak out the fourth free model (Kaya2 has only 24 beast points, but comes with free beast Laris...) I don't suppose Laris would count towards the total in some way? Yeh; wishful thinking.

One problem I see with this theme. It amplifies the already rather good warp wolves and doesn't help the lack later satyrs and griffons. A missed opportunity I feel Living beasts need a CID, period. The Warpwolves are (with the sole exception of the pureblood) overcosted, the Satyrs are not good (though the shadowhorn is close) and the non-scarsfell griffons are poop. Also the Winter Argus remains bad.

Still kind of think kaya3 + goats in this theme could be a real thing.

Well, in relation to non-theme you get an extra 12pt Satyr, free beat back and the Gnarlhorn get no KD as long as it didn't run... You think it's enough to put her on the table?

I don't think you need much of an incentive for Kaya3 - she brings so much already, you just have to decide where she fits into your pairing.

Still kind of think kaya3 + goats in this theme could be a real thing. Sure, Kaya 3 is defaniteley a consideration. I am more into Kaya with Purebloods and gryphons (Repo plus 10" spray) and the gryphons with Repo and Dodge is great. But Riphorns specifically hit like freight trains with her. The issue is her Feat and Fog of War is less effective on Goats as they are lower defense. So she doesn't help them approach as safeley. Still might be worth taking a few shadow horns or Riphorns. Does anyone think mixed light Spamcould be a thing? Argi Gryphons and Goraxes all in one list? I feel like it could be a thing even over Gryphons as Argi get Pow 20(21 under Kaya3) Combo Strikes on the charge and can follow up with some Pow 16's. Or are Scarsfells just better?

I've been thinking the same, main thing that i like about theme griffons are stealth, tracker and elusive. Argi will be able to get ps21 base with primal as opposed to griffons base 17 with kaya 3. In all honestly with kaya 3, I think a good mix of multiple of each will be needed.

Am I right in thinking you can field a free Lord of the Feast?
I'm surprised nobody seems to be going for that option. 6 points for free and ideally suited to taking on hard to reach infantry.

I guess she needs a heavy at least? To crack a hard target? A stalker gets stealth on approach, has pathfinder and one of our longest threats... Feral is also cool as he brings primal, threats 12" and has a bunch of attacks...
Something like this?
Circle Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Call of the Wild (Pre-release)
!!! You are using a pre-release theme.
(Kaya 3) Kaya the Wildheart [+27] - Gorax Rager [7] - Rip Horn Satyr [14] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Warpwolf Stalker [19] - Wild Argus [7] - Wild Argus [7] - Wild Argus [7] - Wild Argus [7] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Shifting Stones [0(3)] Shifting Stones [0(3)] Swamp Gobbers Bellows Crew [2]
Had a lot of trouble getting the exact 100 pts to make room for the 4 solos and the bellows. LotF a thematic idea since he looks like Cernunnos but... well he still the LotShelf.
Perhaps trade the Riphorn for a Gorax + Argus?
Is this what you guys are thinking?

Pretty much that exactly, Though I would take a couple purebloods for the Gun and because they are the best heavy in faction IMO.

Budgies really are just better.
The single high-POW combo strike doesn't make up for the 3 native attacks on the budgies, and defensive cocktail of stealth + base DEF 15 is hard to top (and it gets incredible with Fog of War plus the feat, since most gunlines do not ignore concealment even though they ignore stealth).

Budgies?
If you going the Scarsfell way then why not...
Circle Army - 74 / 75 points [Theme] Call of the Wild (Pre-release)
(Una 2) Una the Skyhunter [+29] - Wild Argus [7] - Argus Moonhound [6] - Gorax Rager [7] - Pureblood Warpwolf [17] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Druid Wilder [0(4)] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Blackclad Wayfarer [0(4)] Shifting Stones [0(3)] Shifting Stones [3]
Or +1 Pureblood and -2 Scarfells?

Circle Army - 75 / 75 points
(Kaya 3) Kaya the Wildheart [+27] - Argus Moonhound [6] - Argus Moonhound [6] - Feral Warpwolf [18] - Gorax Rager [7] - Gorax Rager [7] - Razorwing Griffon [7] - Razorwing Griffon [7] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Scarsfell Griffon [8] - Wild Argus [7] - Wild Argus [7] - Wild Argus [7] - Wild Argus [7]
Now with the new theme it gets even better.
Razorwings and Moonhounds are very cheap speedbumps. Scarsfells and Wild Argi murder stuff. Even without the theme its already a brutal list. IMO
