(...) Also - Protheus drag. They'll help with assassination or things like Angelius AP strike (finally you don't have to boost attack roll fearing snake eyes). So much this. Boosting to hit AP or Zuriel combo strike in defense levels: Khador wastes so much resources. But sometimes you can't risk. And very nice thing to have in all assasination runs. EDIT: With current wording they are legal in Oracles and Children of the Dragon, yup?

RAT 6 sprays on a unit is actually good. Running Flameguard Cleansers with and without Severius 1 makes a huge difference.

First crack at a list to take advantage of them:
Vayl2 (Oracles) -Angelius -Angelius -Seraph -Naga -Bloodseer Throne Throne Sorceress+Hellion Forsaken Forsaken Witches
Might try a variation, swapping a Forsaken for a Succubus.

I really don't know where to go with these gals. I like PM but 7pts for 3 rerolls? Maybe- situational. I like the SP8 but Magic[6] makes me frown a little (mitigated by having a Bloodseer around?). Ice Cage to synergize with Throne or get reasonably lucky and get 3 for 3 themselves?
I would like them cheaper... but I do really like having a 3 man unit. BFS I feel is pricy too but that's not here or there.
Right now... I think I'm considering a Vayl1 Spray and Pray list again.
What I do know... is that I hope we (including me on this) get enough Battle Reps into the CID to help provide information before they are released.

PM is also an attack, does that mean we can force our opponent to reroll his dice?

Aye, that's what the ability says.

Three ravagores under lylyth1 arcing fire kill haley2 with three camp in cover something like 65%. If shee camps less or some ravagores get to aim (and can more likely use the rr for damage), this goes uo quite a bit.
Just sayin...

Hungerford alluded to puppet master making some assassinations very reliable. Lylyth I assume is one of the main culprits.

All Lylyths and Vayl2 will take them in most of their lists. For others they will be just rounding up lists.

I always take one unit in oracles. Not beeing able to score half the zones just doesn't work for me.
I check if the list/caster works with hex hunters, if not, I choose between shard and witches.

I'm thinking maybe Vayl2 with double throne, BFS, three units of IWs, and Warbeast to taste.

I'm at odds with the witches. For 2 pts more you get the BFS which are amazing. I much rather them lose puppet master, gain some defensive support spells and drop in cost.
The grey lord cloud is what I would want but it's pretty strong on defense 14 heavies. Hunters mark is good but I would trade puppet master for hunter mark. Perhaps an offensive -2 strength spell to model hit. Making them the debuff unit with ice cage and a strength debuff.

The other unit (in a different theme) that is a bit like them, is Groteque Banshees. 8 points for 6 rat5 (can aim) gun fighting spay6 guys, with 7 move and flight. I've played the bashees a bit, they don't clear stuff out that well even with a hit buff. Magic 6 spd 6 non-pathfinder sprays are ok, but not that exciting. Ice cage will miss a lot. Puppet master is what they are all about for sure. I'm looking for great lists that have more than one unit

The witches are spray8 sorry. But they can't charge so threat about the same. 7+3 +sp6 vs 6 + sp8
