I do not dispute your points macdaddy but Druids don't have victim Stats, inside the cloud they are DEF 15, Stealth, Sacred Ward and elemental immune. These are not victim stats.
I'm not recomending them, I want that to be perfectly clear.

And the players that don't play those 2 factions play with lots of good pow Blasts.

The anti-infantry options available to every faction now make what should be a resilient set of abilities pretty naff. Much too unreliable for 2 points per model, at any rate. -und_ed

god i hate that pp added free pts to themes. give me perks not pts. But this is the situation... some faction play 20+ points up. No benefit can overcome 1-2 beast/jack handicap Pretty much you are going to play one trade down with a faction with premium models. Circle desappeared from competitive scene for a reason. When you play at high level you need the best tooles, not the "maybe i can work with if my opponent is less skilled then me". I think you misread what i was saying. im not denying that its a thing. i just wish pp never added points to *any* theme force period.

Then you add on that beasts are generally a bit too pricey compared to 'jacks before the themes get factored in...

This possibly could've worked as written with one small change: - For every 30pts of beasts or blackclad models ... Just like the new mercenary theme it would make so much sense here giving us lots more list building options within the restricted model set. So much potential squandered. This is of course stated without any knowledge of what's coming down the pipe and this theme could very well be saved with a ranking druid officer release and other blackclad themed releases. Good thing it's going into CID!

You can build fairly resilient list with this theme. You have a good amount of fury management and healing. You can sac pawn non magic shoots into feralgheist. You have some grinders to soak stealth ignoring shoots. A fair amount of elemental immunity. Good shooting with knock down techs. You can reach blessed pow 21 with BigMeg.

What about taking shamblers and a croc doc to have tough sac pawn models?
I really wish we could take 2 minion units....then we could take shamblers and brigands or croaks to fuel the shamblers...

If the plan is to allow a merc/minion units/solo/whatever in themes then that list will be able to take 2 units
As I've said, I'd like the theme allowed one to be added for free point purposes... and perhaps a Blackclad unit attachment to make the FF?

A blackclad UA for FF mercs would be pretty awesome. But I wont get my hopes up

What makes you think that we'd be able to get 2 minion units? I think they walked back the "every theme list gets a minion unit & solo" thing and are dealing with it on a case-by-case basis.

Yup, I agree. Got that from the CID lists...
