Is BoH, really that good into Ghost Fleet? Assuming the Denny1 build, I can't see how any of our units don't get A.) Shot off the board, or B.) Crippled by debuffs. Sure the RFP is great, but I can't see enough of it getting there. +1 With proper placement you only get Fennblades killing 2-4 pirates, which is faaar from what is needed to defeat the list.

Sure the RFP is great, but I can't see enough of it getting there. I do not think it is that bad. Fenns threaten a LONG way, especially if they try shooting them. Usually you can force a too early feat (and that makes the rest of the game playable) or you could take a good chunk of board space. Either way it is a good thing. Sure, your 10 fennblades are not going to kill 30 pirates, but they can give the rest of your list the chance to get there and do work. BoH also (potentially) brings the tech to completely neutralize dennys assassination. Earths blessing on the caster and a couple of Warders means that you will not "just die" to Denny. And if you bring some nice ranged attacks (MK, Bomber etc) then you could have a serious shot at killing Denny if she comes up to feat by removing stealth with the stone. Granted that the MK will have crippling grasp on it all the time, but it still is a threatening piece. BoH does not "solve" Ghost Fleet, but it has some tech against it and can give you a shot. Most lists do not even have that tbh.

Two min units of Warders takes most ranged assassination vs. Madrak2, 'off the board', so more aggressive positioning is possible.

i would rate pborka and emadrak a bit better in BoH. I think you underestimate the Boh theme force. +2 deployment +rfp is really good for a theme force.
Since the change of grim1 i am trying to build an all corner list for grim1. In my opinion no theme list really works in my opinion.
PS: i hope our new units will be added to our old theme forces. Bears in BoH really sound amazing.

I am not sure which theme force really works well for Grim1. I would not say that their is none but building a grim1 list thats covering alot of the current meta is really difficult. I would love to play a mixed arms list with the War Wagon. I hope our War Wagon will be added to more then just 1 Theme Force.

Feels odd to say, but I think I'd go Chronicler over fell Caller in that list. I do that a lot, these days. Hero's Tragedy and Tale of Mist offer the ability to force annoying decisions, where the Fell Caller makes people move and hit more reliably. If it's free, then Fell Caller, but before the themes came out, I had a lot of lists that had Chroniclers but not Fell Callers.

I just highly value being able to get concealment on a non pathfinder unit. Pathfinder units it doesn't seem to be as big of a deal... I amost always find a relevant forest in my meta. When a 2" reach beast is in the list charge of the Trolls is much more reliable.

Charge of the Trolls gained much with the Brawler.

it looks really solid! i would add a winter troll. conflictchamber.com/#c7201b_-0G590r9DiY04jq6G4kj20ki-iZiZezezTrollbloods Army - 74 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North (CID) !!! Your army contains CID entries. !!! You are using a pre-release theme. (Grim 1) Grim Angus [+29] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Ice Troll [9] - Winter Troll [8] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Fell Caller Hero [5] Lanyssa Ryssyl, Nyss Sorceress [4] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Northkin Elder [3] Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Bear Handle & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] i really like fire Eaters. The northkin elder really support them

Yeah I have been looking at swapping out one of the Ice Trolls for a Winter. I definitely recommend the Hooch Hauler with Grim1 though. With his feat, marked for death, all his knockdown tech and return fire spell, the Hooch Hauler can get a ton of work done.
