Mistook curse for something else then. Anyway between blind, field guns and carriage, she won't have problem hitting.

So her big weakness is her huge base, right? If she does go into shooting, she has to use windstorm and cntrl extension every turn except feat turn.
What does she do very well when that isn't happening? She can run a bunch of jacks pretty well. She has some nice control features.
WGC would be good for her, right? Sac Pawn would help immensely to keep her safe from shooting. Am I missing something there?

Rowdy Dragon ah ha! Didn't know that about Spray ranges not being changed! How the hell do I not know the rules better of a game that I spend so much time reading about and playing? Thanks for the information.

I think she's strong. Not broken strong but good. If she was coming before karchev nerf, I wouldn't have bothered but now I think she has something to say. But I don't know if she will have a place in high level tournaments since there are more immediate casters around. But if you aren't the kind of person who just like to cast one spell per turn, then she could be a decent alternative.

If OW2 wants to grant to hit bonuses she: A: Has to be close enough B: Has to hit them And against the more tricky targets in cover or concealment, she would be forced to spend extra focus to do that reliably.

What she does I think is replace Vlad 1 as the best gunline caster we have. Curse and S&P on averages both give +2 hit/damage. Uh no. Curse doesn't give a +2 to hit. Only damage. Against one target (Maybe two) at a time. Vlad1 is vastly superior to her in terms of ranged game. He can empower the entire army, and allow them to hit whatever targets they want without having to be close enough to hit targets with spells. Thats a big deal. You actually have to HIT your target with your spells. Your pretty short range spells, if you want any effect to happen. People your seriously overestimating the merits of Windstorm. Its a nice ability, but its expensive and can be counterplayed unlike something like Windwall which is a Binary Yes or no. Curse works against units too.

Curse works against units too. I get that, but my point is that a buff for your entire army dwards the debuff of only 1 or 2 stuff a turn.

True, true. I think Vlad does attrition way better, but OW2 does assassination better.

I still think it sucks that her crows only work on direct hit. They should have just made it that she can only shoot once per turn and can't target friendly models.

But they get +2 to hit AUTOMATICALLY from Vlads ability. Don't mean to nit pick, but I think it's worth to note that SnP averages to a +2, it's not nearly as powerful as a actual +2. Meaning that Vlad needs a large volume of attacks to average the +2 IME (and tilt your opponents in the process )

Meaning that Vlad needs a large volume of attacks to average the +2 IME (and tilt your opponents in the process ) Not sure how that works. The odds of heads or tails on a coin (Thats perfectly balanced) is 50/50. You don't need to flip it 100 times to confirm that. How is Vlad different?
