We don't know anything about them, Pagani just mentioned it on facebook when Nyxu was asking about new Cryx releases. what a tease.

I actually like Agathia a lot; I feel like she does just about everything you want in your 'basic' Cryx 'caster: Ghost Walk, Parasite, Hellfire, a moderate delivery measure in her feat, and a bonus ARM buff for a 'jack (that incidentally has nice syngery with the Inflictor). She doesn't really do anything surprising though. Denny2's feat is a real pain. When you take shooting Arc Nodes it's okay, because you can apply the debuff. If you can get boosted shooting (like from a Pistol Wraith after you feed it souls) it does okay too. I also apply it with a Stalker a lot (the high MAT, back strike potential, etc). But yeah it mostly seems useful to help gun down specific targets, it's not much of a control feat (besides forcing a Shake Effects focus expenditure). I view Denny2's feat as "free boost after first hit". If you think of it that way it's a lot more useful. Things with mass volumes of attacks like McThralls really benefit from this. Also, there's a lot of synergy between biles and Mcthralls under feat. Purge on a def 14 target and McThralls suddenly hit on 6s and pistol wraiths can stationary def 16s without aiming. I really like the necrosurgeon and sepulcher changes for this reason. By strengthening recursion I can actually deliver my army to the point where they can do interesting things with each other and with interactions like Denny2's feat.

so much. I'm gonna have nyxu put up a thread once he gets home from work, since I don't have all of the pics.
Suffice to say for now; Skarre3's spell list is the nuts.

I'm so sad that the PP forums got purged because I was calling for Skarre3 as a Battle Engine riding a giant Ghost Ship since 2013 and am now so happy I'm getting it.

If Reznik's chariot and Lylyth's sleigh are huge bases worth of being Battle Engines, I'd think a Ghost Pirate ship would be a huge base

I'm a Khador player but enjoy popping over here occasionally. I like most of the models and there's no Cryx players locally, so I enjoy reading about them. I'm not that familiar with the Bane models (too many similar names) so while I was reading one of the threads discussing Bane Knights and Bane Warriors I went to the PP Website to look at the differences. The Bane knights seem to have a strange polearm weapon and the Warriors have axes. But the really interesting thing to me was that the Bane Warrior entries are Bane Warriors on the first page but when you go the detail pages they are as listed Bane Thralls. Have they changed recently or am I missing something since I'm not familiar with Cryx?

Probably a mistake, bane thrall was what warriors were called in mk2.

Have they changed recently or am I missing something since I'm not familiar with Cryx? During the Mk3 rework, Bane Thralls were changed to Bane Warriors. This was to put a solid divide between "Banes" and "Thralls" as different subthemes. Banes in general are slow, hit hard (for infantry), and all have ghostly. Bane Knight = 2" reach, bonus charge damage, set defense, and shield wall. They're our defensive line. Bane Warrior = 1" range, weapon masters that shred armor. UA makes them tough with rise and a revival mini-feat. Whatever they touch will die, while the UA makes them durable Bane Riders = 2" reach with vengeance. Fast elite units that can get into painful spots and hurt a little of everything.

Thanks Kavrae! That's a good definition of the units and it helps a lot.

I watched the keynote video last night and I am definitely getting in on that subscription mini service. Anyone else?
