So I've been playing WMH for less than a year, and only have played trolls. I really enjoy Ragnor and wanted to work out a way to spread out the fury so more beasts could act in a turn without worry of frenzy. Here's something crazy that I've come up with. conflictchamber.com/#b71bfL9D5-0sbLed035L6RbF0k0mezcCTrollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points (Ragnor 1) Ragnor Skysplitter, The Runemaster [+30] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Earthborn Dire Troll [15] - Swamp Troll [8] - Trollkin Runebearer [4] Horgle Ironstrike [4] - Pyre Troll [9] - Slag Troll [10] Troll Whelps [4] Wrong Eye [17] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Stone Scribe Elder [3] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] - Trollkin Sorcerer (1) [3] I'd run the Fire Eaters along with Horgle to help out with Burnt Meat. I'd run the Stone with Ragnor and his BG for added ARM. Starcrossed + Swamp Troll animus (and sometimes EBDT) can create a bit of DEF skew, which might be amazing on Feat turn. I also like that I can put Pulverizer on Snapjaw. There may be problems with shooting lists, but Earth's Sanctuary might be enough to manage. Whelps are there to spawn and block lanes, for some healing, and just in case I run a really hot round with Ragnor or Horgle. Thoughts?

even though Ragnor can only take in like 4-5 fury each turn (with camping) he can run a big battle group. The key is to use a whelp here and there, and also to know what beast is going to die, and therefore can safely generate as much fury as you want to. Playing PoD where you could have two units of whelps for free allows you to be more liberal in the use of them. Also, Horgle coule be whelps instead if you wanted to manage fury. He can not handle those two beasts in the long run anyway unless the slag goes in, kills something and then dies. he has the same "problem" as any other caster. Finally, PoD gives you +2 THR on all beasts and this is significant. having a beast with 1 Fury left over is usually fine then.
But enough about PoD. WE/SJ seem really good with Ragnor. They do miss out on his feat, but they are good for going on one corner and contest. As you say, Pulverizer works on SJ for some reason, and he is WAY deadlier then, especially with a free charge.
Fire Eaters are nice, and even though i would never put a sorcerer with them, it has some nice tech against incorp. Since you have a Pyre in the list you may want to try and get a second nit in there. Not sure how though.
Love that you have the swamp troll + Star crossed interaction in there too. you probably send swampy with WE/SJ towards the opponent zone to hold it, and use the rest of the list to try and clear your side.
All this looks perfectly playable. Maybe not optimized, but playable and interesting for sure!

Did I miss something? Can you put a sorcerer with FEs now? Thought it had to be a medium based unit?

Thanks for the feedback! I figured at some point one of the two beast on Horgle would die, so I gave him two so he had a backup, this way the plan of "spread the fury" would continue functioning. I'm not sold on the sorcerer, but had 3pts left and thought it might be nice to have an extra attack with them and be able to clear enemy upkeep/animus off them since they're usually the first thing to be attacked. I could drop the whelps and the sorcerer for a 2nd unit of Fire Eaters, but I lose the fun of spawning whelps and with Swamp + Starcrossed + Whelp, that DEF skew gets all the more crazy.
I currently only have 2 heavies, so I need to get a 3rd one and I can proxy (or get WE/SJ as my 3rd) and see how things work on the table.

That's part of my problem with the sorcerer. He is a great little 3 point module but his options for attachment are very few. Outside of fennblades(because I never EVER want crippling grasp on them!) I don't really know where to put him. But I can say every time I've gotten him on the table he's done something useful.
