IF someone is crazy enough to get second hooch holder how it is run best?
My first impression is to play with Grissel2 to help them hit, but is it actually nessessary? They are rat6 under veteran leader and IF I can get lookouts to mark-the-target range RAT8.
Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points
[Theme] Storm of the North
[Grissel 2] Grissel Bloodsong, Marshal of the Kriels [+27]
- Dire Troll Bomber [19]
- Pyre Troll [8]
- Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)]
Swamp Gobber Chef [1]
Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)]
Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6]
- Northkin Elder [0(3)]
Northkin Bear Handlers & Battle Bears [10]
Northkin Raiders (max) [15]
Pyg Lookouts (min) [7]
Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18]
Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18]
We don't have any caster that could give them SPD, so hunters grim or Gunnbjörn could be options to give them snipe. Grim2 can also give them apparition for extra SPD. Borka2 would be option too, to give them some protection on feat turn and Ragnor can do the same.
And then some really deep meta: Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points
[Theme] Storm of the North
[Madrak 3] Madrak, Great Chieftain [+29]
- Dire Troll Bomber [19]
- Dire Troll Mauler [15]
- Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)]
Feralgeist [2]
Northkin Shaman [0(4)]
Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)]
Northkin Bear Handlers & Battle Bears [10]
Northkin Raiders (max) [15]
Pyg Lookouts (min) [7]
Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18]

How about Grim1? Maybe you can then squeeze in a glacier king to replace the bomber, lookouts and pyre.

Grim1 might be option too. Feat is really nice.
Gunnbjörn looks really nice actually. Do I really have to buy D&S also?
Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Kriel Company
[Gunnbjorn 1] Captain Gunnbjorn [+28] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dozer & Smigg [18] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Braylen Wanderheart, Trollkin Outlaw [0(5)] Feralgeist [2] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Northkin Elder [0(3)] Northkin Raiders (max) [15] Pyg Lookouts (min) [7] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18]

Why not run them with Horgle2? They enable his feat and give you a pseudo Feat turn every turn. Could take him in Kriel Company or Storm of the north. Bears under feat Turn seem absolutely disgusting and are steady tough to boot. conflictchamber.com/#c7201b_-0GgL0r9DjqfFj20li-iZezezj3j3Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North [Horgle 2] Horgle, the Anvil [+29] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Swamp Gobber Chef [1] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Northkin Elder [0(3)] Northkin Bear Handlers & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18]

I came back to this treat as BAHI-UK made me to order second Hooch Hauler. I started to think what kind of role I want them to have and what kind of buff's they want. That way I think that snipe is not what they want. Macdaddy's Horgle2 list looks actually quite temptating, as leading one could be ARM23. Borka2 would be also nice to test as they will help to clear inftry while battlegroup will kille heavies. List is also super fast. Madrak3 is third list I really want to test. Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North
[Horgle 2] Horgle, the Anvil [+29] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Swamp Gobber Chef [1] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (max) [9] - Northkin Elder [0(3)] Northkin Bear Handlers & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Northkin Fire Eaters [7] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] | Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North
[Borka 2] Borka, Vengeance of the Rimeshaws [+27] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Pyre Troll [8] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Troll Whelps [4] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Northkin Elder [3] Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew [2] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] | Trollbloods Army - 75 / 75 points [Theme] Storm of the North
[Madrak 3] Madrak, Great Chieftain [+29] - Dire Troll Bomber [19] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Feralgeist [2] Fellcaller Hero [0(5)] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Northkin Bear Handlers & Battle Bears [10] Northkin Raiders (max) [15] Pyg Lookouts (min) [7] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] |
But not sure if I want to wait till I get second HHH ready before I test them out or do I proxy. Have some BIG plans for that, so it most likely take time to build.

Hooch Haulers are really good in my humble opinion IF you can get em to hit. Being able to benefit from vet leader if you double is nice.
I think however they will typically need raiders or some chaff to screen them unless you are playing something that prevents charges like Grim1 or from a heavy killing em (like Borka2). Stumbling drunk also works well with a line of raiders.

Double Hooch hauler with a glacier king and Grim1 is an excellent base for really good lists.

Have you considered using a modified version of Jaden Iwaasa's grim1 four huge base list? I don't think it'll be as viable without double wagon, but double HHH seems kinda memey to begin with.

I think WW fit that list better than HHH. Two HHH would definitely add shooting power, but they have so short range that they have to cluster up if they want to shoot same target. But I think I have to test that version too. Loss of feralgaist hurts too.

My second Hooch Howler is finally on my friends painting table (as someone have noticed on facebook) so it was time to test duo of them.
Trollbloods [Theme] Storm of the North
[Borka 2] Borka, Vengeance of the Rimeshaws [+27] - Dire Troll Mauler [15] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Earthborn Dire Troll [14] - Trollkin Runebearer [0(5)] Fell Caller Hero [0(5)] Troll Whelps [4] Valka Curseborn, Chieftain of the North [0(6)] Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes (min) [6] - Northkin Elder [3] Northkin Bear Handlers & Battle Bears [10] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18] Hearthgut Hooch Hauler [18]
List idea is to be fast and tough and I think it worked really well. Hooch holders hit things with rat 6 and beasts are hard to remove thanks to feat and stumbling drunk. I would change Fell Caller to Boomhowler2 as I get him, so he can give stone reposition (as they are slowest part of the list), get some good line-cleaning shots and give protection from single wound weapon masters.
Problem of the list is very limited number of attacks, but at least there is quite many spray attacks. Played against Retribution that was otherwice good game to me, but nearly lost it to scenario as I couldn't kill one model behind house contesting my zone.

The min stone hurts my feelings. Maybe you drop tye fell caller, make the whelps free and add max stone and a chef?

The min stone hurts my feelings. It might hurt your feelings, but it won't hurt mine. I play mostly min stone and max only with casters that can fuel it up. (like Grissel1)
