Ok, so I posted a hypothetical Tharn list a couple weeks ago and you guys offered some good advice on it and I appreciate it. Now on to part 2. I'm making a pretty big lifestyle change of going back to school full time which means my expendable income is going to be basically nonexistent. I have a month left of full time work, so maybe I can scrounge $200 to get as much as possible for a new batch of Tharn models before my expenditures become few and far between. I'd like to have 75 points in mind to shoot for (I fully acknowledge $200 may not be enough to get everything, but it's a start), but here's the thing. My gaming group has really been enjoying team games 35 points a player. So while I'd like to have a 75 point list, it might be even more important to have a collection that can put a couple variants of a 35 point list together. Last night we played a game where I proxied Iona, Stalker, Feral, Full Ravagers w/ UA, Gallows Grove, Brighid & Caul and LotF.
A brief battle report: the guy I was across the board from totally underestimated LotF, he moved up very aggressively as Skorne/Makeda and LotF was whacking Makeda turn 2. I totally wasted the stalker because I simply didn't know what to do with him and he got caught in the open. The feral took out some Feroxes and jammed his main line. Ravagers took out a Titan Bronzeback and a unit of his single wound shield wall guys. Some good stuff. I REALLY liked the Ravager synergy with forests as we tend to play with a few more terrain pieces than the rulebook actually requires so there's usually at least two forests on the board.
Anyway, I liked the list but wanted to get your guys' opinion on how I might gather a cohesive 75 point list that can be split into a couple variants of 35 points. I'm currently debating between Iona and Baldur 1. I'm giving the edge to Iona due to FURY7, her feat, and the extra range of Hunters Mark. But honestly Baldur 1 is pretty sweet as well. It'd be nice to have a high DEF force that is practically immune to ranged attacks and he gives more forests for Ravagers to take advantage of.
The only Circle models I currently own (that would be usable with Tharn) are as follows: Stalker, Feral, Riphorn, Scarsfell, Shifting Stones.
Models I really like and hope to have included, but if you can tell me why they're no good, I'll certainly take it in advisement, but I really like Ghetorix, the Feral Warpwolf, LotF and Tharn Wolf Riders. I misused B&C last night but I certainly see how they could be awesome when used well, too. I also think the Ravagers did amazing in my one game with them, but are they always so good? Thanks for the help!

Ravagers are kind of the baseline unit for Devourer's Host, many lists that I've made want two units so I'd definitely pick them up.
Lord of the feast is a really nice solo so would get him as well.
Although if budget is the priority maybe wait until the Tharn theme box comes out in December and pick up that which is 35 points by itself to the beast of my understanding, then Lotf, Iona and Baldur as they should be relatively cheap?

My persional oppinion is morvana 1 with a core list of
Tharn ravenger shaman to support tharn bloodpach unti, they can use magic weapn well and go to pow 16 rat6 vs a mortality affected model.
Regrowth is great on the tharn ravanger units for both extra armor and cheap upkeepable revives to optimize your unit.
Beasts maybe a pureblood for spray and blessed animi
If you run bolder 1 id say wolfriders, ravangers (stone skinned), blood trackers beasts
But always flavor as you like

That’s actually a pretty decent collection! Are any of the sculpts new aside from the brand new models? Also, do we have a price point and specific release date?

Keep an eye out for used armies. That can net you a lot of models at a fraction of the price.

It is a good box of models. The Bloodweavers can do some work as well.

What are people’s experiences with ghetorix? And who would you put with him to fill out Ions’s Battlegroup Points?

What are people’s experiences with ghetorix? And who would you put with him to fill out Ions’s Battlegroup Points? He is a solid beater heavy who is pretty tablet now as well. I would run him with Kromac1/2 Wurmwood, Baldur 1/2 and potentially Iona as he is fairly self sufficient. Think of him As a stalker who trades sprint for more durability and Mat 7.

What are people’s experiences with ghetorix? And who would you put with him to fill out Ions’s Battlegroup Points? You really want Stalker with Iona if you can still fit Gethorix on top of it in your list leaves you with 8 points of wiggle room and still have access for 3rd free solo.

I assume you want the stalker so that she can use his animus? I can make that work if I lose the gallows grove (in a 35 point list), but doesn’t she really need the GG to get off Hunters Mark?

Even without GG if you have anything Iona can kill in her charge range you are in great spot, she is hard to shoot down due to stealth and dodge. She can go higher than 18 DEF with surefoot so it's fair to say she doesn't NEED arcnode. While you are in the fray with her you can even be greedy and use Persuit on model/unit that you think could be dangerous for her.
Example list
Circle Army - 35 / 35 points [Theme] The Devourer's Host
!!! Your army contains pre-release entries.
[Iona 1] Iona the Unseen [+28] - Ghetorix [19] - Warpwolf Stalker [17] Tharn Wolf Rider Champion [0(7)] Bríghid & Caul [7] Tharn Ravagers (max) [15] - Tharn Ravager Chieftain [5]
Im sure you can make something way better than this. Proxy and try different things.

Ok, lots of good advice so far, thanks! Here’s an idea for 35 points followed by a 75 point list. I’d love to fit wolf riders in there because even though they don’t seem to be getting a ton of good press, I think they might just be awesome. But money-wise they’re quite expensive, so they won’t make the cut of the first draft.
Btw, my meta includes Dark Host Cryx, Exemplar Menoth, Masters of War Skorne, Gravedigger Cygnar and a guy who wants to do something with Convergence but hasn’t gotten to it yet. My other army is MoW Khador.
War Room Army
Circle Orboros - Iona - 35 pts
Theme: The Devourer's Host 1 / 1 Free Cards 35 / 35 Army
Iona the Unseen - WB: +28 - Ghetorix - PC: 19 (Battlegroup Points Used: 19) - Warpwolf Stalker - PC: 17 (Battlegroup Points Used: 9)
Lord of the Feast - PC: 0
Tharn Ravagers - Leader & 5 Grunts: 15 - Tharn Ravager Chieftain - PC: 5 Brighid & Caul - Brighid & Caul: 7
THEME: The Devourer's Host ---
GENERATED : 11/10/2018 08:52:17 BUILD ID : 2069.18-10-06
Then for 75 points:
War Room Army
Circle Orboros - Iona - 75 pts
Theme: The Devourer's Host 3 / 3 Free Cards 75 / 75 Army
Iona the Unseen - WB: +28 - Ghetorix - PC: 19 (Battlegroup Points Used: 19) - Warpwolf Stalker - PC: 17 (Battlegroup Points Used: 9)
Lord of the Feast - PC: 0 Tharn Ravager White Mane - PC: 0 Tharn Wolf Rider Champion - PC: 0 Bloodweaver Night Witch - PC: 4
